Hey Cherries 😊

I've had yesterday and today off work..I spent a LOT of time yesterday just relaxing and catching up on sleep. That stomach bug and then working when I still felt bad just REALLY took it out of me.
My prints FINALLY came this weekend! I'm gonna be making more page kits, with JUST papers and photos.
I  think I'll feel more motivated to scrap after I tidy up some. I wanted to do so MANY of the fabulous challenges but I JUST wasn't feeling it. 🤷🏻 I HAVE felt like journaling a LOT AND organizing some of my other art projects, though! I don't KNOW where the month went! 😂
I'm thinking of taking advantage of this free shipping though! 🤪 We'll see! 😉
Stay blessed, DCs! 🍒❤️☺️

Ugh - hope you are feeling better soon! I love making page kits - the problem is then remember what I did when it comes time to use them LOL Speaking of cleaning up, I just put away all the Christmas stuff I had out. I know there are only 2 days left in the month but I want to try to do at least 1 or 2 of the challenges that I've had my eye on. So many good ones!
When I make kits I add a note with my ideas on what I’m thinking. That way I don’t have to try to figure it out when I go to create. Lol!

Good afternoon. DH is still exhausted from his surgery which means I’m also exhausted. I did start a DT assignment which will also be my October Manufacturer with a Twist challenge. I can’t believe it is already almost October. People around here already have Halloween decorations up. Maybe I should start putting up Thanksgiving decorations since it’s my favorite holiday.

It's a dreary, rainy day here with not a lot of good natural light for scrapping. I'm going to try to start a page today thought. The manuscript I"m working on is incredibly complicated (epic fantasy - very D&D, sword & sorcery) so I have to really pay attention and go very slowly and it's huge. Meanwhile the Jets are on today, the Mets are choking in the playoff run (ugh as a Mets fan but not terribly disappointed if I don't have to go to work this week - is that terrible LOL? I'm tired!), and I have to iron for the week. Then DH and DD decide to take the winter clothes down. She has new luggage from Texas that needs to be put away and we usually put the seasonal clothes in the luggage in the closet. He wants to get rid of the old, beatup luggage we have. Meanwhile, it's ME that ends up doing the changeover so they just piled clothes all over the bedroom and I don't have time to deal with it right now with everything else I am doing today. It's usually something that I do here and there over a week but now everything is out of the bags. UGH. Anyway, not a very relaxing Sunday. Then people wonder why I look forward to Mondays

Dreary, rainy weather here as well, but ouches I feel for you! Re-packing away the clothes is no fun! Hopefully it'll go fast for you! 🤞

I'm not even thinking about it today. I'll work on it during the week, because it's not my priority. They did what they wanted to do so I'll do it my way over the week. I have manuscripts and challenges to do today and tomorrow LOL!

Happy Scrapping!

ABSOLUTELY! 😊 I hope you get to enjoy some scrappy time!

I started the page for the Picture Yourself challenge. I'm getting used to the idea of switching to 8x11 so maybe the pages will go faster? We shall see!

You know, that's a good idea. Because the biggest lie we tell ourselves is that I don't need to write that down, I'll remember LOL!

(((Hugs))) I hope you both get some rest! I can't believe it's almost October either. Where has the year gone? We decorated for fall but DD snuck some Halloween decorations in. We have the majority of Halloween stuff to put out next month though (like in a few days, haha).

Go for it Chris with the Thanksgiving decorations! Why not?! :)

Glad you’re both resting. Things like that take more and more time to recover as we age. Continuing to pray for you both!!!

I finished "adulting" and got to do this layout for the Manufacturer with a Twist challenge combined with the 1-3-5-7 challenge.  Yay!

Good morning!  Yesterday turned into a lazy evening.  I felt I got a lot done in the morning, so I took the night off...lol.

I cleaned up the kitchen this morning - AGAIN!  These boys just irritate me sometimes.

I finally went and got my nails done.  I was just heading out to the treadmill, but my daughter called to recap her adventures in Utah so far.  I need to color my hair tonight too.

After the treadmill, I am going to force myself to get the 2nd coat of paint on the hallway done.  It's such a huge task and I just don't want to, but I really want that project finished.

I put some ribs in the crockpot for dinner.  I might do some meal prep for the week later on...

Have a great day!
I feel you on the cleanup (again!). That is just like it is in my classroom.  Glad you got in some YOU time!

We had rain all day and it feels ungrateful to complain, since we haven’t had any in months!  So very NOT terrible that you don’t want to go to work. LOL I hope you made it through all your work today!

The Mets & Jets both lost and in 2 days working on this manuscript I've done 17 out of 404 pages. Erg. On the bright side, I did do a little thingie for the Flash Coffee Challenge  And thanks for being on the same page about work, hahaha!
