Your pages are fabulous, Birgit! I am so excited to get this back. Thanks so much for adding these beautiful pages and for the great add on to mine.Birgit55 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2024 8:14 amI finished my double page layout yesterday in Vicki's Art Journal
Mediums / techniques used: stamping, die cuts, rub-ons, ink blending, stenciling.
The journal will be on its way to Louise ~ Traveler in today's mail. Thanks so much Vicki for this brilliant idea of passing the Art Journal. It's been a while since I've done anything in my own art journals and now I'm inspired once again to pull them out and get creative. This was so fun! I was glad to be a part of it.

Now I'm getting nervous. I don't know if I can do bright and beautiful. I'll go practice.
So Beautiful! Love the images and design. I'm with Lis. Need to go practice.Birgit55 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2024 8:14 amI finished my double page layout yesterday in Vicki's Art Journal

Beautiful pages so far. Now I’m nervous that I’m not up to this. I’ll let you now when it gets here.

THIS is GORGEOUS!!! I LOVE that it made you want to get into your art journals, too!
No need to do "bright and beautiful", just do YOU. That's the fun of it.

So it should get here soon, I just want to clarify what I am supposed to do. Can you confirm that I do the following things?
- I add a little something to each of the last 2 pages done by the previous person?
- I do not add anything to any pages prior to those.
- I add my initials or name or whatever to a butterfly on the inside cover?
- I do the next 2 pages of whatever I want. Is there a theme? or a color scheme? or just whatever I feel like?

You will add a little something to Birgit's pages. (only the person that mails the journal to you)
Create your own two pages.
Personalize a butterfly however you choose.
Let your mojo take you wherever...no theme, no special colors.
I looove seeing everyone’s style and work! So pretty !!!! Eeeek!

I was an away over the weekend, but it has arrived. I’m super busy tomorrow but plan to get started on it Tuesday. Everything in it so far is amazing.
Louise
I'm glad it arrived safely as well. I always get nervous about snail mail getting lost. Have fun getting creative Louise! I can't wait to see your entry.
I have finished!
Rather than make a 2 page spread, I made 2 separate pages that don't really go together. I hope that's ok. Here are my 2 pages:
I linked the above pages up to a couple of challenges, I hope that is ok.
I added this acetate butterfly to one of Birgit's pages
and I stenciled bit of 2 clocks onto her other page:
My butterfly is drying and I want to make sure these pages are completely dry before I put them in and close the book. I will do that and mail it tomorrow or Friday when I'm sure everything is completely dry.
Thanks for this, it was fun!

Your pages are fantastic, Louise! They don't need to be a matched double page LO. I love that they are different. The added items to Birgit's pages look amazing too. Thank you!trainmom wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2024 1:39 pmI have finished!

Wow, I wouldn't even know how to start making one of these pages, but all your work so far is absolutely beautiful! I am following this thread just to ooh and aah!
