Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me,
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
— Emily Brontë (1818–48)
Howdy. Well did not go anywhere yesterday again! But really have to go to grocery today because totally out of root beer and only enough Dr Pepper for today. If there is not a cold Dr Pepper in the fridge when I get up in the morning, I could beat up a momma grizzly. lol
hot weather is back but not too horrible yet. Tuesday is the day they say could possibly make 100 degrees! And if it does, weather folks say it will b the last triple digit this year. Lol so WELCOME AUTUMN!!! The Back door is NOT open since going to b 96 today and no breeze.
have a serene Sunday

Homecoming was so much fun - at least the picture taking part...lol. Hubby came with because it's the last one for us. He instantly regretted it. He had no idea how many photos these kids/ parents want to take. I don't know what he thought it was going to be, but he already told me there is no way he will be coming with for prom photos...lol.
Here is my handsome boy and his girlfriend:
Today is just laundry and meal prep for the week. I worked on a page, so I feel productive scrapwise.
Have a great day!
What a gorgeous couple they make! Your son is very handsome!
Thank you!
Thank you! Your day yesterday sounded exhausting! Hang in there for the night game!scrappinmom99 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 11:14 am
Aww, happy 16th birthday to her! Have fun with the family & cake!
Today is the last regular home game of the season and I'm working. I worked yesterday and that game was in the top 5 attendance dates since CitiField opened in 2009! We had almost a full staff and still I personally did 7 wheelchair runs (usually 0-4 is the norm depending). There is a capacity of 41K and there were 44K people with standing room only tickets (which also made it harder to get through crowds with wheelchairs!) Today was supposed to be a 1:10 game but ESPN picked it up and now it's a 7:10 game. I hope it's not as crazy as yesterday since it's now a Sunday night game. Anyway now I am just tying up loose ends at the desk and hoping to edit and upload some pics here for challenges. I've done some more pages for my Santaland album as well as a thank you card and gift for my boss.
Good for you for getting so much done!GinniG wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 2:17 pmHi Cherries! It’s hard to believe that September is almost over already!!! Crazy how fast the weeks are flying by!!!
I’ve been working on getting layouts into albums. I’m making great progress! Plus enjoying the new view! Even in the rain and gloominess it’s beautiful! Meanwhile Steve has started working on the house again. He’s trying so hard to get things done. I help when I can but I can’t do much. Just being over there with him helps a lot he says.
Today’s agenda is getting more pages into albums and scrapping tonight again. I really need to look at the last 3 shelves of albums to see what is there. But I have 4 of the 5 grandkid’s layouts in albums! And when I could I put them in chronological order. Some only had a couple of pages at the back to add so I just left them the way they were.
I figured I’m about 1/3 done. The last part will be bigger than any of the grands. Mostly it’s us, me, scenery and stories that have happened throughout our lives, plus both family heritage albums. But things have gone quickly so hopefully that continues!
Hope you’re all having a great day!
Happy Birthday to Maddie!

I feel like I have not scrapped in forever!!! Want to try and get at least 4-5 challenges done today. Hvae a great day everyone
I hope you got your scrappy time in! Enjoyed watching our Buckeye boy, Justin Fields, doing good things with the Steelers. Watching the stupid look on Jim Harbaugh’s face was just the icing on the cake. . Tomorrow, I will watch our Bengals, hopefully, do well! Good luck to the Chiefs tonight.
