Scrap a Day, September 18th
Hey Cherries. Getting ready to go for a mammography and a bone density test. Then coming home to work on the seating cards for Maddie’s party. That’s my plan for today.

Have a great day Cherries.

Hey Cherries 😊
It's a beautiful, cool morning here! I'm gonna have some coffee and make a few phone calls. I'm off work today, so I might do some art or scrappin'. I haven't done much scrappin' this month, but I've been in my art journals a LOT! 😊
Stay blessed, DCs! 😊🍒♥️

Good morning. Not much going on here and not a lot of errands so I hope to finish the page on my craft table and start on some cards. There are some good card challenges this month for inspiration.

I was hoping to see the eclipse last night but it was too cloudy out. Oh well.

Good morning!  Not much going on here either.  I threw some chicken in the crock pot for dinner.  Taking my son shopping for homecoming shirt and tie.

I worked on my meal plan for the rest of this week and all next week.  Now I just have to figure out the grocery budget to make it happen!

Jason is doing amazingly well with his PT!  It's just the pop up appointments that are killing me.  these are not factored into the original estimate so they are pre-pay.
$125 is a lot of money when I'm trying to plan a trip to the grocery store!  lol

Long story short - he got hurt in football practice.  His kneecap dislocated and popped right back in, but when it popped out, it knocked some cartilage loose.  The loose cartilage is what was causing the pain, so they had to go in arthroscopically and remove it.  The biggest piece was the size of a Tic Tac.  It's amazing how something so small can cause so much trouble!

Anyway, he is doing so well, so they are increasing his PT to help him build up his strength faster.  We are hoping he can play at least one game this year.  It's his senior year and he just wants to say he played at least once.

I guess I have to do some real work today....this week is dddrrrrraaaaaggiiinnnggg!!!!

Have a great day!

Lovely cloudy grey cool day. Autumn at its finest! lol. Stupid weather folks say starting Sunday the heat is back full force. Even a chance it will make 100 one day mid week. Ugh. Enough!

Slow day today. Already changed bed sheets and started some laundry. Need to sweep the floors and dust but that’s about the extent of my housekeeping. I definitely am not cut out to be no Martha Stewart! lol

Have a winning Wednesday.

I was up and out to the local greenhouse to pick up some pumpkins and ornamental pepper plants for porch and mailbox flower pot.  Did a bit of planting and weeding before showering and having lunch.  Now, I'm working on cleaning up my craft space and finishing up the organization of my die cuts.  I did purge quite a few of them and still have more to go.  My SIL will be here to visit next week so we will be scrapping most of the time.

Re: Scrap a Day, September 18th
It's a real nasty fall day here- rainy, windy, and in the 50's.  I doubt we will reach the predicted high of 68!

I had a haircut earlier, came home and putting out my fall decor.  Changed sheets and washing sheets and towels now.

Yesterday got the binding for my 2 table runners  all cut and sewn on the front.  Working on sewing it down to the back.  Will post photos after they have a tumble through the washer and dryer.

Otherwise, not much new on our horizon.

It’s hard to go back to work after being home so long! It will take time to get back into the groove. At least you’ve been playing in your art journal!

Too bad you couldn’t see the eclipse. We missed it too because it wasn’t dark enough at 4 pm. Hope you can get your errands done quickly so you can play!

Wendy, yay for getting your meal planning done! I hope you were able to fit it all into your budget. It’s really hard these days!

What happened to your son sounds painful! Hopefully he can get well enough to play!

Thanks, I would love to send them off to someone that would use them but the shipping is ridiculous.

Re: Scrap a Day, September 18th
We were supposed to have another nice day today but it’s drizzly and chilly with an expected high of a whopping 50 degrees! Ugh! Then tomorrow will be grey and cloudy before the first storm comes in.

I’m going to get Steve to light a fire in the house so I can work on getting more layouts into albums. Yesterday I went through 3 shelves of albums looking for ones I thought I’d started and to see if any had room in them. It’s a tight space and there’s no room to lay them down and look at them so I probably made a few muscles unhappy. Lol! I need to go through the rest of them because I didn’t find what I was looking for and there may be more room in the other ones. Might get Steve to help me!!! :)

I also got another layout finished. I’ll post it to the gallery later. Hoping to get scrappy later too.

Have a great day dear Cherries!!!

Still stupid hot in Ohio.  lol  I want my Fall weather, darn it!  :)  I know...official Fall isn't until next week.  I am just tired of the stinkin' hot and watering my flowers every day, because we haven't had a drop of rain in almost 6 weeks. :(

On a happier note, today was a good day at school.  Multiple field trips led to small classes, where I could really interact with each student. :)
