I made my background using a random piece of burlap and some oxide sprays! sorta of an improvised texture-y stamp! I layered some stenciled hearts and a stamped quote (x2) for added dimension. this color palette was fun to pull together too!

The colors look so much brighter in the picture than in real life….I couldn’t quite match the palette but I hope this works!

I love this color pallette! It was perfect for these old photos I'm trying to work on of my youngest daughter's high school years.
I am not great at mixed media lol! It's a tad sloppy. I used gritty texture paste, which I tinted with some paint. I used a little mist,, ink,  and some metallic gold paint as well.

Here is my submission, I hope I got the color pallet correct. I used a stencil and ink blending for the background. I used both watercolor and mica sprays to create the colored paper that I then die cut the flowers and wreath from in addition to cutting from colored card stock.
