It's not 5 O'clock here yet. LOL I am glad that's it's friday, though. Plus I get out of work an hour earlier on Fridays. :) I just finished up the Scraplift a hostess challenge, now trying to decide which one I want to work on next. I have all weekend to play, just have normal household stuff to do in between.

Sorry I missed this. I was actually having a five o’clock glass of Chardonnay while making dinner. Dinner is finished and eaten with a second glass of wine. Now we are in bed waiting for the Phillies game to begin.
Sounds like a perfect Friday night!

Have fun at the lacrosse game - but that IS early! ack! I've gathered up all the things I've made for the challenges and will hopefully start uploading them tonight. I have a few other cards and ideas for layouts cooking. DH was home for 3 days this week (Tues the surgery, then he just went back to work today to "clean up his office" before Monday) so it feels weird that it's Friday but I'm all for it LOL! I'm just going to throw some frozen taquitos in the oven for dinner and DD wants to rewatch The Bear before the 3rd season starts.

Quick dinner sounds like a plan.  Get some rest and heal quickly!

Yes as the school year winds down, seems that the activities ramp up!!

DH and I are headed out to go bowling and eat - it's been a long while since we've had a date night - with just the two of us!
That sounds like a fun date night!

Yay! I can’t believe it’s been a week already!

I’ve been trying to do one or two challenges a day. After tonight, I have four days off of work. You’re right though seems like there’s something going on every day!

You are rockin' the challenges girl!  I'm on my 3rd one.  LOL!

I worked on quite a few challenges over the weekend.  Now I’m winding down. I’m doing just one a day until the due dates.

Good for you, Mary!!

I  have been doing a few challenges everyday.
I have never seen a lacrosse game before.
Good for you getting to the challenges.  Lacrosse was new to us when our oldest DGS played 12 years ago.  It sure can get rough and DGS is 8.  There is girls' lacrosse to and I'm glad our DGD plays softball!

I'm in the central time zone and getting ready to close the laptop. Tonight I will be working on challenges while listening to the ball game. Go Brewers!
We lived in the central time zone for a while in NE Indiana.  Our daughters' school was 2 miles from us and they were on eastern time.  It was a challenge!

I have done some of the challenges this week. Taking some time off for some housework - today is laundry day. Will get together some papers and embellies for my next set of challenges.
Sounds like your doing a good job of pacing yourself.  Enjoy the weekend.

I know! May is nuts! I'm still managing on having so much fun working on all the challenges. I'm ready for the summer and all the May mayhem to be over.
LOL!  I remember the end of school year as a mom and we grandparents are still busy with activities...concerts, award assemblies and this year a high school graduation.

Yeah, May is cray cray. 2 of our nephews are having a bday party next Saturday. Anton turns ONE and Wes turns THREE. Luckily the party is AFTER the deadline for NSD challenges! 😂  J/K, I'd still show up to the party. But before that we take Jasmine and Shelby to the vet for their annual exam and shots. Then AFTER the party (should end around 4pm), we head out over the bridge to my bio dad's house. He and his brothers are having a ceremony for 2 lucky recipients of the scholarship they set up for the high school they went to in honor of their mother.

My work day didn't go as planned at all today and I'm kind of burned out. Once DH comes home, we'll sit out on the back porch and drink a beer. We will decided where to go eat for dinner. :)
Sounds like you need a quiet evening going into the weekend.

You are right! May is a very busy month in my world too. I'm at my scrap table planning to start another challenge as soon as my homemade potato vegetable soup is heated. I added a little more cheddar as it seemed to be light on the cheesy white sauce. Thank goodness for the weekend! I want to scrap as many challenges as I can.
The  soup sounds wonderful!  Great idea for the weekend.

If you can believe it, I'm STILL working on uploading entries for the layouts I completed last weekend! Life has been so hectic this week!!! Fortunately this evening's event got postponed due to rain, so I have a little bit of time to catch up with some online scrappy stuff! I am hoping to sneak in a few more this weekend/next week yet too!
You are rockin' the challenges too, Brandi!  Hope you get everything uploaded.

Happy Fri-YAY, Vicki!  I made myself a mule and settling in for the evening after a looooong work week  :greenlol:  We're taking my in-laws out for lunch tomorrow to celebrate Mother's Day.  It's just easier to get into a restaurant on a Saturday, lol.  Plus, for my Mother's Day all I want is to have a day in my craft room to finish up the challenges I didn't get to last week.  I scrapped a little bit this past week, but it's not something I feel super motivated to do after work and dinner during the week.  My son is out of state and not able to visit until next month, so scrappy time will have to do. I did manage to put the finishing touches on my layout for Louise's Progressive Challenge, but it was mostly done so I was glad to get that one finished & uploaded!
I hear ya, Stacy. I'm retired and still wasn't motivated.  LOL!  I'm slowly getting a few done.

Well we are finally on the road to MegaMeet in Novi, MI. It’s a five hour drive so we will get there hopefully by 11. Then up early to head to the show and spend the day shopping. Closing is at 5 and then we drive home (ugh another 5 hours) but it is so much fun. Four of us are making the trip this year.

This month is going by fast. The Indy 500 will be here in about 2 weeks and it gets crazy here. So many people from out of town for the race.

Hoping to get the rest of the challenges done next week.

Have a great weekend everyone.
Sounds like a fun time!  You'll get to see Sara and Emily?

I've  been working away on the all challenges this week.  Having a lot of fun and trying new techniques and ideas.  Not much else.  My life is rather boring.  Hope everyone  has a great scrappy weekend.

Great that you are enjoying the challenges and learning some new techniques.
