Re: Brandi's Grunge-Inspired Recipe Challenge
I had a giggle that a lot of my "grunge" items had a hint of non grunge when I went to use them. My brown texture paste has glitter and my metal elements all had hearts lol. Also used Hexegons, texture paper as background, flannel & distressed edges. Close up to show texture past as it blends in. Wood grain texture. ImageImageImage

Re: Brandi's Grunge-Inspired Recipe Challenge
I used 6 of the choices:

3. Splatters - not exactly, I made the white dots with a white pen because I don't have any white paint right now
5. Metal Embellishment - snowflake brad in upper right corner
7.  Flannel/Plaid Elements -plaid print on sticker across the page near the bottom
8. Color Scheme of "Grunge" (lots of black, grey, dark blues & dark eds) - yes
9. Ripped Paper/Distressed Edges - blue cardstock is torn
10. Fibers/Burlap/Twine black burlap

Re: Brandi's Grunge-Inspired Recipe Challenge
I went with 6 elements in your list.  I really liked this challenge.  This is a Disney trip layout and fit perfectly for our stay at Coronado Springs!

3. Splatters - orange paint splatters on both pages
5. Metal Embellishment - brown latch on right page upper photo, metal decor on journaling card left page
6. "Texture" Patterned Paper (i.e. metals, bricks, chipped paint, woodgrain, denim etc.) - wood grain, grunge background
7.  Flannel/Plaid Elements - plaid in title and circle
8. Color Scheme of "Grunge" (lots of black, grey, dark blues & dark eds) - browns, rust, grey
10. Fibers/Burlap/Twine - orange fiber bakers cotton on journaling card left page
