Make sure you have completed step 1 and posted to that thread (even if you missed the deadline) before you read any further...
For this step, you will start with your full size background paper and follow the instructions below depending on which path you chose.
Mixed Media Path - using a stencil and some type of modeling paste or stencil butter, add a textured design to 2 or more corners. You may make these corner areas as large or small you would like. You may use the same color for each corner or different colors but you should use the same stencil each time. After it dries, you must either spray part of the page with some type of mist or flick paint or ink onto the page. You may spray or flick in one or more colors.
Sewing Path - stitch a border all the way around your paper. You may hand stitch or machine stitch but there must be real thread/yarn (no faux stitching)
Stamping/Doodling Path - Using black ink or black pen, stamp or draw a border all the way around the paper (all 4 sides). It may be a straight or dotted line or something fancy but it must be black and go all the way around. Then using a different color, stamp or draw a design in or near one corner.
keep the rest of your kit aside for the next step.
Post a picture of your completed background paper in the ACOT gallery (DONT FORGET TO MARK IS PRIVATE) and link it into this thread. Remind me which path you chose and indicate what you have done, if it is not obvious.
Step 3 will be posted Sunday evening, no earlier than 6pm EDT, so you will want to finish this step before then.
ONE ADDITION RULE: Do not save your space. Just post when you are done. Only post before you are done if you making a comment or asking a question.

When is this step due?
I did Mixed Media...
I used heavy gesso and I used the stencil on all 4 corners. I watered down the gesso a bit to make it more liquid and flicked it onto the paper.

Have a Wonderful Day! ~Misty

I went the Stamped/Doodle path - here's my stamp work

Scrapbooking reminds us that life is good!

I doodled stitching in black and then doodled flowers in white in the corner.
I chose Mixed Media.

I went the stitching path. I had to send a close up because the thread wasn't showing up from far away! I love stitching on my pages!

I choose the Stamping/Doodling Path. The photo didn't come out very well in my opinion, but I'm loving the look in person. The paper is much lighter than this image shows.
I used a black pen to draw a double line border around the sides and Juniper Mist navy blue ink to stamp 3 stars. This is fun!

I refuse to admit how many pages I’ve ruined with stamping gone wrong
I’ll try again after lunch, ha!

You’re not alone….I just realized I stamped my image in black and green, on top that booboo, I smeared the image! …and it was the last of my cream base paper, which I really wanted to use. Sigh.

I used a small stars stencil and Crafter's Workshop stencil butter. I flicked Shimmerz mists in pink and green.
