I know it’s a little early, but as some of you know, I am going to be out of town until 5/7. I’m at the airport now and my flight is delayed, so I was just playing on my phone and thought I’d get this out before all the NSD excitement hits.

I am so bummed to miss NSD this year! I hope you all have a blast! And I know it’s a super hectic time. So I’m going to do something different. This month, I just want to see some double page sketch ideas! I think I’m drawn to a certain kind of sketch, but sometimes it’s nice to step outside my zone too.

This month’s challenge is that simple! Just post a sketch. The catch, and why I said quickie, is the deadline is early. Please do so by 5/15. When I return and after I hopefully catch up on a few NSD challenges, I’ll pick a couple sketches and use them for the June challenge.

1. Post a double-page sketch to this thread by 5/15. ONE ENTRY per Cherry.

2. I will choose 2 winners for a $5 GC to ACOT. One will be random, the other will be my “fave.”

Safe travels to you!  Thanks for the easy challenge, it’s going to be crazy with NSD.  I am so sorry you will be missing it, but a lot of the challenges run until the end of the month.

I'm doing double layouts more and more! I thought this one was cool!

I like this one…not as intimidating as the double page layouts the require 6-9 photos. I like that this one could be used to show off papers and embellishments I love. (And my mind immediately thought, “What about hanging spiders on a Halloween layout instead of ornaments?!”

I Chose this one because it made me envision film strips piled on top of one another.  Back in the day (pre-digital) I had TONS of these laying around my house!!

I’m typically a single page gal. But lately doing quite a few double pages to finish up my Ireland album. Will find one to add here when I get on my regular computer.
