I just loved seeing the different ways everyone got inspiration from this album cover! So much creativity! Since I had over 20 entries I am picking two winners! Chosen using RandomNum iPhone app, the winners are…
Winner #1
#1. MaganL
Winner #2
#12. Krystle
Congratulations to Magan and Krystle! I have ordered your gift cards!
Thank you to everyone that participated!
This month I chose the "Bohemian Rhapsody" soundtrack album cover for us to use as inspiration. Anything that the album cover inspires… the colors, the silhouette, the blended background, the subtle sketching behind the title, the light rays or the glow, the rock theme, the word "Bohemian"… use whatever it is about it that inspires you. You do not have to use the colors. For instance the background may inspire you to do ink blending, but you can ink blend any colors you want. But by all means use the colors for inspiration if you want to, as I did.
Please let us know what it was that inspired you.
Open to paper, digi, hybrid, cards, crafts, planners, or anything else you are inspired to create.
Multiple submissions are allowed up to a limit of 3.
You may combine with one other challenge that allows combining and you may also add to the Prompts Challenge.
Post your submissions to this thread by March 31st and a random winner of all participants will receive a $5 ACOT GC from me!
I hope you find this album cover inspiring and you have fun with it!
Here is my layout. Those colors and the blended background, along with the silhouette and the glow of the lights, put me right in Halloween mode. And I just had to create a little Halloween silhouette scene across the bottom. The pic is of my sweet JJ dressed as Rapunzel this past Halloween.

I drew inspiration from some of the colors, the mixed media looking background (I cut my mixed media apart into rectangles for my grid), and the contrast with black.

Quick question - does the inspiration have to be limited to the cover art/graphics? For example can I be inspired by any of the songs on the soundtrack?

For this challenge it is just about getting inspiration from the album cover.Karyn_Sue wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 4:41 pmpawprints wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 2:26 amThis month I chose the "Bohemian Rhapsody" soundtrack album cover for us to use as inspiration.
