Hey Cherries. My sweet Aiden is 11 years old today. I have to finish up his card and run a few errands before going to DD’s tonight. I did get a layout done for the Pet Challenge yesterday and hope to work on another challenge today. We’ll see how it goes.

I usually walk with a bunch of ladies on Wednesday mornings. As I started to head over there this morning, it started to rain and then pour. We ended up canceling, but not before I got soaked. So I came home, changed my wet clothes and headed into my craft room and did one page for my Israel album. it has liquid pearls drying so I will upload it later. 

Other than that, I was hoping to do a little planting today but only if it dries up and I have a hair appointment this afternoon.

Hate when that happens - I was about to hang some laundry the other day - I'd checked and there was NO rain in the forecast - and as soon as I got outside it started to rain. At least it didn't wait until I got the laundry hanging on the line!

Last night DH and I went for our weekly date night to a local pub for trivia night and we came in first place! woo hoo! Won a gift certificate in addition to bragging rights! Gotta admit that the final question clinched it. The category was holidays and we bet the max. And then the question was about a Jewish holiday! Well - if you've been to my gallery you know I celebrate Hanukkah. So it was a gimme! Guess I'll need to scrap that.

I did finish scrapping my second princess page - I used the same pics but a different layout and journaled about the little sister this time. She's just 17 months old and has to do everything that big sister does. So she calls "her" favorite movie (Frozen) "Go" for her favorite song (you can guess!)



Today I'm going to try to get at least one more of this month's layouts done - but first I have to go to the grocery store - if we want to eat dinner tonight!

Grandkids started back to school today, so I will be on pickup patrol later. Nobody wanted their pictures taken this morning! DD got the boys together. Granddaughter says she will send me one. Keep your fingers crossed.

I had a rotten night. Was up from 2-4:30. But came and scrapped . The mini album from FL is almost done. Yay me! I am obviously creative in the middle of the night!

Oof, sorry you got rained on and the walk was canceled. I thought all that rain was coming later. DD got stuck in it on her way home from class. At least you got some scrapping done! That's a silver lining lol.

Hey Cherries!

I did some more stamp organizing yesterday, but may switch things up a bit today. JUST so MANY to put into pockets, ALSO some need to be better organized by theme, and I'm STILL working THAT part out.
I have embellishments to organize, layouts to put away, etc.
It's VERY nice outside and I want to sit outside for a while. Hard to believe that summer is coming to a close, though I know I'm not alone when I say I'm ready for fall. It's like New Years for me; I tend to do reflecting and all that jazz.

last day of no triple digits....back up in them for the next 10 days or so...UGH  our mornings are slightly cooler tho

all week ive been off by a day. or so...ha  yesterday i was SURE it was thursday....NOPE

i have no kiddos today....so its a quiet day...ive got most of my household things done and uploaded the layout i finished last night....gonna start another here in a bit  id like to finish it and plan another today

i also need to finish going thru my clothes...i have entirely too much stuff and dont wear but a fraction of it.....its silly!

I am dragging today. I worked Sunday and Monday at the stadium and at this point in the season we are all tired, even the kids LOL. (I shouldn't call my coworkers kids but I am old enough to be some of their mothers LOL!) I've been trying to catch up on copy editing the past two days and finally feel like I am making progress. I don't work any games the rest of this month and am waiting on the September schedule. I put in for 12 out of 17 dates but really hope she cuts me from some LOL! It's the last hurrah though - the Mets ain't making the playoffs this year  

So anyway between freelancing, the wacky game day hours, summer, and now school starting, I never know what day of the week it is so we have all been trying to get back on some kind of routine. DD has a class or two every day and is annoyed she couldn't get a schedule with Fridays off like all her friends. Oh well. 

I did finish the BF sketch this morning and have that and another layout to take pics and upload. It's so dark and dreary here though for photos. Guess that can't be helped. 

Oh I forgot to mention that I no longer have to wear the boot for my sprained toe. (I told you guys about that, right? I can't remember!)

Hello. Expecting 99 here today then 94 tomorrow and then poof dropping into fall for a bit with a high of 79! Of course it cools way down for the Labor Day weekend when all the outdoorsy folks want one last hurrah.

Mailman came early this morning with two small boxes! I want to just tear them open and hit the scrap table running, BUT sigh not until I do a bit of tidying up around here. Tomorrow is garbage day so that makes today clean out the fridge day. Oh well I’m sure I’ll work fast today. Haha

Have a pleasant Wednesday. Stop and smell the flowers before they’re all under the snow.
