Laura your couple in your sample look a lot better than Charles and Camilla.

Somehow I do believe you could put Charles and Camilla in their attire when they were that age, and your couple would still blow them away.
Aww...they are two amazing, sweet kids! The 2 leads in my SpongeBob Musical this year.sherelm wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 11:58 amArt_Teacher wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 11:56 amLOL...it's hard not to...they are young and beautiful, right? They are really a nice looking couple. And how nice of you to do a page to mark the occasion. The blue and purple definitely set it off too.
Purple and turquoise are my favorite colors too! I used the latest Becky Fleck sketch before I realized that was a no no so it's not tagged in that contest.
Btw, I swear it's more purple in person. It photographed really pink for some reason.

I inked white cardstock with turquoise and then swirled a tiny purple ink pad on the end of scissors to make more distinct swirls. My inspirations were the flowers, scattered stars over the trees (blue splatters), the water drops (bling in flowers) and swirls (waves). This was a lot of fun. Thanks Laura.

This worked out perfectly because I did the envelope challenge in these colors before I even looked at this challenge. So here is a card to go in my altered envelope, it has no greeting but it will probably go to my sister at some point because her favorite color is purple.
my inspirations were:
water drops - I squirted the oxide ink with water to make a droplet sort of effect
little white flowers
rose - I have roses on my little tag and roses in my little photo
thanks for a fun challenge and beautiful mood board.

Heres mine, those colors were perfect for Pandora!

I love this mood board sooo much! Those colors are gorgeous together. I love your example project, too! It's really lovely.

My card. Colors, flowers, mood board as my sketch, blings as a water drops.
Thank you for the challenge!

Beautiful colors! I knew I had to use the moon mask stencil for this project. I was inspired by the moon, flowers, and dew drops. Lots of distressing and die cutting. Finished with Wink of Stella.

Other than the colors, I drew inspiration from the moon, the florals and the sprinkles...other things too.
I did use for a DT (the cutfile I used for the title)
so I don't know if it qualifies, but I wanted to share it anyway.

Colors, photo, and 3 inspirations: white flowers, droplets (sequins), used a quote.
I was inspired to make this bookmark for my dearest BFF. Even the photo of us (Feb 2023) matches the mood board! The quote: "Here, hold this - 1986" is from when she shoved her bottle of OJ at me in the bathroom on a freshman year school trip. And thus began a 37+ year friendship in that way extroverts have of finding and adopting an introvert, hahaha!!

It's a rainy day and the indoor lighting isn't great, but I promise this is more purple than the gray/black it's looking like on my screen. My inspirations were the white letters (2 kinds-script and block), moon (circle) and water droplets (the 3 "..." after "haunted"
