Loved the original movie and the show back when it was airing and the reruns. I was watching it again on HULU. Can’t believe it’s been 40 years!!!!

Leads were (originally) Alan “Hawkeye” Alda, Wayne “Trapper John” Rogers, and Loretta “Hot Lips” Switt. Back then McLean Stevenson was the commander or colonel (?) but i can’t remember his character’s name. After Rogers left, somebody Farrell (?) took his slot as Honeycutt and Harry Morgan (loved him!) became the colonel.

Yes, but it ran into the 80's and ended in the 80's, which is where the photo came from...the finale.

You’re right, I was thinking it was on when I was in middle school, and it was, but now that I think about it, I remember watching the final episode my freshman year of college, which would have been 82 or 83

Yep!  1972 to 1983...one of the original long-running dramas! Such a great show, combining comedy with serious life.
