I usually just wing it. I get bored if I stick to one topic for too long lol
Have a Wonderful Day! ~Misty
I am flying off the seat of my pants. But still making it fun at the same time.
Getting back to the swing of things. I've been scrapping since 99' and even after having two kiddos have been generally caught up to current with scrapbooking through out these past couple decades - until now! I am still working on 2021 right now which has me with not much mojo. But I want to get back into it!

I have not had a chance to get organized, so I am just going to buckle my seatbelt, put the tray table down, and fly!

I want to be able to use my new paper packs that I bought awhile ago and are still in the package. If I can make a dent in the pretty papers, I will be happy.
Just call me Nan - it's short and sweet
I'm flying by the seat of my pants. I don't scrapbook chronologically and I rarely do themed scrapbook albums. I just start with challenge details, find appropriate pictures in one of my dozen photo boxes and then select papers and embellishment's.
I'm going to mainly work on my honeymoon album. After 20 years of marriage, it might be nice to reminisce. I just hope I remember enough to include journaling!
Cheers, Lydia

Don't feel bad, It will be 30 years for me and I have yet to do a wedding or honeymoon album! I will someday though, just gotta get those photos together, that's the hardest part is finding them and organizing them, I'm considered vintage at this point lol. Forget journaling, no way I can remember much now. You're right, it will be nice to reminisce though, can't wait to see your work!

I pulled out some pics that I’ve been wanting to scrap but haven’t got to. They are all 1 or 2 pages.
My goal is to finish 30 pages this weekend! Ambitious I know haha photos on base pages, finish up projects I started at last years NSD party, and also to try something new. I only used mixed media during this event because it pushes me outside the box with the challenges. I LOVE the challenges and my goal is to complete at least 5 of them!
Oh Carrie, you got the nail on the head! I'm ignoring my Christmas journal, we had a rotten Christmas with everyone sick for the season. I might try to work it in, but I'd rather fixate on more positive stuff.
That sounds like a fantastic goal for the weekend! It's great to hear that you're pushing yourself out of your comfort zone with mixed media and embracing the challenges. It's through challenges that we grow and learn as artists. As a fellow crafter, I know how important it is to take breaks and relax during creative sessions. Maybe you can reward yourself with a little wedding gift after finishing each challenge or set of pages? It could be something as simple as a favorite snack or beverage, or maybe even a small plant to brighten up your crafting space.Whatever you do, just remember to have fun and enjoy the process! Happy National Scrapbook Day!Senior07 wrote: ↑Fri May 05, 2023 9:40 amMy goal is to finish 30 pages this weekend! I am hoping to get a few more pages done for my wedding album - I’m hoping to finish before we’ve been married 2 years But otherwise winging it and trying to bust through my stash so I can buy more
