Vicki, just a FYI. NSD is on May 6th. With all the activity in the gallery there might be a need for extras that week or two.
Thanks, Joyce. I haven't really looked that closely at it yet. I think splitting the time may be the easiest way to go. I also thought I would wait to see the time line for entries for NSD too. Any ideas?JAire wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 8:39 amI'll be one of the 3. How are you working that? certain days per person or the 3 just pick from the whole week?
Thanks everyone! Only 1 week remaining from May 29 - June 4. Also, we may need to add another Cherry for NSD week once we have the time line.
Anyone willing to take the week of May 29 - June 4? It would be great to have a 3rd person for NSD week also.
I'll do the 5/29 thru 6/4.
(I did LOTW last year just after NSD and it's someone else's turn! LOL)

I can do the last spot for the NSD week. If you still need a person.
Thanks, Flora! That would be great. I'll add your name.

Hello, Cherries! We're looking for a few good Cherries!
Often times, depending on challenges and schedules, the gallery is jumping with submissions which sometimes means layouts and projects get bumped before really getting noticed. Other times, Cherries are often busy and can't make it to the gallery as often as they'd like. The Layouts of the Week feature will allow us to put some of our Cherries in the spotlight! The rules are simple -- once you've signed up, find your assigned week. At the end of that week, preferably on Monday, post your selections for featured projects. Start your thread in the Layouts of the Week forum. Choose one item from each of the categories listed in the gallery. It is usually Traditional, Digital, Cards and Tags, and General Crafts, and sometimes Photos. If there is no action in any particular category, then simply skip that section. Also, if you are really torn between two great creations, feel free to post an "honorable mention". Please link your choices so that we can go and leave love on them! You may choose a specific week, and you may volunteer for more than one week. Simply let me know!
A few little things . . .
1. Be sure NOT TO POST DURING your assigned week. If you do, submissions made after your post will be overlooked. Your posted week is for review.
2. Be sure to only post projects that were submitted to the gallery DURING your assigned week. This will help eliminate the possibility of overlapping.
3. We've all been enjoying the LOTW Badges created by Art_Teacher! But, one final note on those: As mentioned above, you may have an "Honorable Mention" in addition to your primary chosen project. That is fine and you may mention however many you want. But, ONLY THE PRIMARY SELECTION in each category will receive the Badge.
Here are the open slots if you'd like to host a week! (Please note that the first "week" is actually 8 days so that we can get everything lined up going forward!)

Quick question for the nsd lotw picks. This is my first time doing it. Since there is three of us? Is there a system or suggestion on how it will be done so that I am not picking the same ones? Thank you
Let me check with Laura how it's been done other years. The week will more than likely be split into 3. I think the first 3 days for one person, the next 2 days for the second and last 2 days for the third. The end of the week will be most busy because the 15th is the deadline for NSD projects.Florac74 wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 1:00 pmVickiR wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 8:57 amI wanted to jump in and help out while Flasher is taking a break. Last year, if I remember correctly, it was done by splitting the week into specific days assigned, then on to the next person. If I may add, the following week was also VERY busy last year as well - I know that for sure, it was me. I think it might have been because of the NSD project timeline and when things were due to be submitted - but that I don't remember for sure. (I was just getting over Covid - which I had during NSD! - so I am blaming Covid Brain.) So, depending on when submissions are due, it may be helpful to consider splitting that week as well.

Is there a second part of the year sign up?
I would like to take one of the weeks on my Christmas break, from Dec. 20 - Jan. 2.
