Here’s one of my nephew off to Kindergarten!
I used Becky Fleck sketch 293
hello kindergarten
i taught my grandson the fine art of having a pink drink as a treat after school on the first day
Kids always look forward to school so they can get back together with their friends. It was a different story during covid when the kids were home and on the computer.
Here's Orahn going of to Kindergarten.
Mildred - Mom to 2 girls and a husband (I tell people that I am a single mom of 3. Ages 59, 37 and 31) lol. And a proud Grandma to Orahn (7) Sawyer (5) and Mazie (3).
And here's Sawyer's first day of Preschool.

My first entry (there will be more, LOL!!)
My 4 yo DGD has the amazing opportunity to start Kindergarten in Japan! She is there with her dad (a professor of Japanese and Asian Studies) who has escorted a group of students there for a semester abroad. The title translates to "I'll do my best" which my SIL tells me is the "culturally appropriate" title for a page about a child embarking on a new challenge. The subtitle is "Konnichiwa" which means "Hello" in Japanese.
I just LOVE the cute smock and hat uniform - AND the fact that underneath she is wearing her "own uniform": one of her many unicorn dresses.

Ahh! I am getting ready to make a page of my daughter's first college Marching band Season. Now your post made me go back and read the fine print. IT says "18 and younger" so I think its legit!
Great page, BTW! I love the pic of getting fitted for the uniform - as if to say "getting ready" for the next adventure!

Another one from me. When did this kid get old enough to be in 5th grade?!?!?

Here is my entry - us posing with Aisling after one of the Midsummer shows. She was "the changeling boy" LOL. I plan on more entries to your challenge because I am working on her HS drama club book and have lots of pictures. Thanks for the nudge to stay focused LOL!
Happy Scrapping!

If the pics look familiar, that's because one is - I posted her brother's layout already! (and their younger sister is the cutey starting Kindergarten in Japan!)
anyhow - I JUST have to share this! The M&MBI embellishments on this page are from 1999!!!!! Love using up that stash!!! LOL

Used 49& Market patterned paper, a Peartree Cutfile, and some random embellishments from my stash along with my CutCardStock paper to create this layout highlighting my daughter's senior year in highschool. This was not only her LAST first day, but mine as well. She is my baby...the final one to graduate. Five kids, and over twenty years of "first days of school" are now coming to an end for me. I truly do not know what I am going to do next year at the beginning of the school year...when I don't have to do anything at all.

(((Hugs!))) Beautiful page! I am in the same boat this year. I have 2 kids and this is my baby's senior year of HS. I did get some first day of college pics from DS who still lived at home and commuted but still...there is something about no more elementary or high school first days!Mommyof5 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 8:15 amUsed 49& Market patterned paper, a Peartree Cutfile, and some random embellishments from my stash along with my CutCardStock paper to create this layout highlighting my daughter's senior year in highschool.
