Super cute mini !!! love the paper strips and the splatters!Amy Jo wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 6:56 pmI really like the 8x8 format...similar to 12 x 12 but i get so much more out of my papers and embellishments! I'd really like to switch over to this size more regularly, but the page protectors and albums are so expensive and I can't find much variety. Anyone have any good leads on where I can find a better selection?? I did see some cute 6x8 Christmas albums available for pre-order...maybe I need to go that route!
Susan
Thank you but I just did the glittering LOL! These are the cutapart cards from the Enchanted collection. I just fell in love with the whole line! It's a perfect "vibe" (as the kids say) for the Midsummer photos I still need to print out LOL! I just bought ALL THE THINGS from this collection LOLsuewho372 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 5:49 pmAnne-Marie your cards are amazing!! I kind of made up my own size here, a little bigger than TN. I just made a template up and keep adding, since I have that page punch. I use this book for stuff I don't feel like scrapbooking...memorabilia and cards, random photos, lists. Here, I wanted to document some of the odd things about winter 2020, like buying so many groceries because we didn't go out, and meeting a new baby through a glass door. I also try to use up my old supplies and try new techniques, like here I did hidden journaling on tags.

I've been VERY inspired to continue work on a mini album I started ages ago! I DID use photos, though, and added this to the Summer Motivation Challenge.

Last one from me. Also combined with the summer motivation challenge AND included some photos of the old work I did on the album.

Here's my mini page design. Reflects my love of wild animals.
I inked up the page with 4 colors of Tim Holtz Distress Inks, and then inked the outer edges with another color of the same ink. Then I stamped the black funky border, which reminds me of animal cages at the zoo, using a Studio Light stamp and Altenew Obsidian black ink. I stamped the background with a Stamp from Creative Expressions called Shabby textures. The animal and leafy die cuts are from a book by Studio Light: Wild & Free.
The page is 7" x 9",

I haven't made anything like this in quite a while, but Sue inspired me to try it again. I made this one for our youngest daughter. She's had a rough year and needs a place for positive enforcement. I am going to let her choose her own journaling for the tags inside.

Gorgeous work! I agree the stamping does make you think of the cages at the zoo. This is beautiful work!
