THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE THAT PLAYED ALONG AND INDULGED ME IN MY CHILDHOOD FLASHBACK! I LOVED ALL THE ENTRIES AND THINK EVERYONE DID A FANTASTIC JOB! THE RANDOMLY CHOSEN WINNER IS wazzu94!
Hello, hello, hello! I hope everyone is having a fantastic day celebrating NSD here at ACOT!
For this challenge, I want you to create a layout inspired by the animated, musical, short educational films from the Schoolhouse Rock series! I realize that there may be some here that are not at all familiar with it, and there are some that can still sing the songs word for word -- like me . You don't need to have watched the cartoons to be inspired by them. I will provide you with a list of titles from the series. All you need to do is draw inspiration from the titles. You DO NOT NEED to use the actual titles (although you can if you'd like). You just need to draw something from them. For example, I chose Conjunction Junction. Here is my layout using conjunctions (Larry and Eevee & Mustard and Ketchup). My daughter marches to the beat of her own drummer. Here she is with her Larry (Pearls Before Swine) shirt, her Eevee (Pokemon) hat, and her ketchup and mustard socks!
And here is a list of Schoolhouse Rock titles! I believe you will be able to draw something from the titles, regardless of whether or not you are familiar with Schoolhouse Rock!

OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
Super fun!
I was WONDERING what this was all about! Great titles!
..... I can sing ALOT of those.... lol!!! I love that layout-- the photo is super!!! Thanks for the challenge and the inspiration!
Susan
So I’ll start singing “I’m just a bill sitting on Capital Hill.”
I remember those. Loved them!

Oh this is awesome! I loved Schoolhouse Rock growing up! We've had the CD of songs since the 90s lol. I'll probably go with Unpack Your Adjectives. I have an idea brewing...!!!
Happy Scrapping!

Such a great challenge! It was my all time favorite program as a kid and when my daughter was young I bought a DVD of all the programs so she, too, could experience it.

I think I'll give this a go. Great idea!! We'll see if I can post to this thread. It's been a long time, don't think I remember how!
I never watched that. There are some good ideas in your list!

I hope this isn't too much of a stretch... I used "The Greatest Show on Earth" and changed it to "The Largest Tree in Maryland"
I loved this show and even bought all the episodes for my kids a few years ago! I had trouble thinking of them in scrapbook layout ways, but thanks for the challenge!
3 is a magic number (used 3 tags with 3 memories and 3 pics of our magical 25th anniversary trip to San Francisco)
All done... I used "Interjections" as my inspiration, and the very last line: "Darn, that's the end" because I was sort of sad to see the weekend come to an end!
Loved this challenge, having been waiting for the perfect challenge to scrap this big event from my son's wrestling days.Inspired by the title - the photo is blurry but I had to get them clipped from a You Tube video since we were watching on livestream.

I was inspired by "The Greatest Show On Earth". I did a layout about a great show put on at our local festival.
Oh you know I had to do this challenge. I LOVED Schoolhouse Rock as a kid. DS and I even saw a Schoolhouse Rock production at Carnegie Hall with his school Anyway I did this based on Unpack Your Adjectives. I am always flipping to this list (order of cumulative adjectives) in my reference binder as I'm working so I decided to make a cute sign
Happy Scrapping!
