This challenge is to create a clean and simple layout. Clean and simple layouts are some of my favorites. In my mind, clean and simple layouts are layouts that meet all of the following criteria:
- have WHITE SPACE (a portion of the background paper should be visible. White cardstock, solid colored cardstock, or a minimal/subtle patterned paper are fine.)
- use MINIMAL EMBELLISHMENTS (a patterned paper or two, a few limited embellishments)
- have a CLEAN FEELING (uncluttered)
The photo(s) and the limited patterned papers or embellishments are really able to shine in a clean and simple layout. One of the benefits of clean and simple layouts is that they are quicker to produce. Therefore, there is a FAST SCRAP OPTION for this challenge. If you complete the challenge and post your layout by 11:59 PM on Saturday the 7th, you will be entered twice in the prize drawing. Otherwise, post your layout by 11:59 PM on the 16th for one entry.
I have included examples below. I realize everyone will have different ideas about what clean feeling or minimal embellishments means (especially if you usually use a lot of embellishments), so if you feel it fits this criteria, I’ll count it.

- One entry per person.
- NO COMBINING with any other NSD or Message Board Challenges except for the 25 Item Challenge and the 2022 Lovin' It Challenge.
- One entry will be randomly chosen from all eligible entries, and the winner will receive Time to Flourish generously provided by Graphic 45.
