Ah, Spring! (Well, it's coming soon, right? Not getting here fast enough in Ohio!) Anyway, one of my favorite spring flowers is my lilac bush. Hopefully, the nasty cold temps haven't decreased its opportunity to bloom. This mood board reminded me of my lilac bush and my other favorite, the hydrangea, so for this challenge, you must use a shade of lavendar or lilac in your layout (at least 50% of the color) and you can pair it with green, like here, or any other color you like with it. Use at least 3 additional inspirations from the mood board and be sure to tell us what inspired you!
You have until midnight, April 30th to post your layout in the gallery spot I've provided to be entered in a prize drawing for a little goody from me.
Must be a new layout.
Can be combined with one other challenge that allows combining.
OOh that is just lovely!! I love lavender and green together. I have some old (OLD!) stash with some lilacs and stuff that would be great for this mood board!
Happy Scrapping!

YESSSSSSS GIRL!!!!!! I have some, too!
I was inspired for the lines in the gate (striped paper at the bottom of the layout), the white butterfly (white title and accents), and the clear globe (circles and clear stickers).
This is such a pretty board

It seems I don't have any lilac papers! I'm going to have to buy some!
I loved this mood board, but had to dig through my stash to find the right paper. I found a butterfly tone on tone paper and fussy cut the butterflies and a watercolor looking paper with lavender and a bit of pink. I used mostly lavender with a bit of pink as my extra color.
I was inspired by the butterfly (used butterflies), wood from basket (used wood veneer hearts), candy drops on the cupcake (used nuvo drops), white from the wall/doorframe (left a white border on the top and bottom, and softness/ruffled edges of the petals (i tore the paper in strips)

I broke into my 49 and Market stash. these colors were perfect.
I was inspired by the flowers, leaves and the butterfly. The gazing globe also inspired me to use the Wishing Bubbles from the same collection.

Besides the colors and flowers, I was inspired by the birdhouse, picket fence, and butterfly elements on the board. It worked out well to document this bouquet of tulips my son and DIL gave me last Mother's Day.

I have been wanting to document this for a long time and your challenge finally pushed me. My inspirations were the flowers, greenery and butterfly.

Here's mine I did coming with the Pet Challenge and the Lovin' It challenge.
My inspirations we're:
The orb lantern represented by the sparkly and enamel dots; the fabric covered basket-I used stitching and a doily to convey a sense of fabric; obviously, the florals and greenery in the photos - I layered to die cuts together to make my own flower embellishment, complete with the heart banner sticker. ALSO, the photo with a bench has a grid-like fence with vines growing in it and I used those prima packaging for a journaling spot. Love what I've done, thank you for the push! (✷‿✷)
