I will do whatever the group consensus is. Every time an event comes up, something else is happening in my life anyway! So I will play whatever games I can, but most likely I will only be doing the challenges. I will likely be spending Mother's Day in CT with my Mom, but then I can use the rest of the week to do the challenges.

I'm ok with whatever the group decides. It's good to ask for "me time" on Mother's Day anyway. But maybe it would be good if there wasn't a major thing (like a fast scrap or timed game) scheduled around lunch and/or dinnertime on Sunday...

Lol, this has been an issue often! The 3 days are great as most have stated, I am assuming the challenges would be due the folllowing weekend?
And Mother's Day is just another Sunday. My DIL expects my son to cater to her completely, and her family.
Now that my daughter is out of the house and mother to 2, they spend every holiday with her in-laws AND
her narcisistic bio mom.... BUT... If I said I was busy Fri-Sunday, they ALL would put up a stink!
What about starting Thursday around 4pm, keep it light, and go Friday, Saturday for the 3 days. That way if nothing comes
up, we can still scrap? Its different! Maybe we will find it a little less stressful, esp for Sunday!

I agree with the "hybrid plan" of having the long 3 day weekend - then the entire following week to complete the projects. I think this makes it fair for most cherries as everyone can work on their challenges when it is best for them. The only thing that will limit participation would of course be the real-time games. But even so, other games such as word games can have adjusted due dates to allow others to play along. IMHO
