A garden journal sounds so fun! Here are a few good options. I like journals with a spiral side or journals that the binding won't get ruined when adding in dimensional things. You can see all of them HERE. All of these papers should be fine with stamping.trainmom wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 9:06 amRachel_K wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 2:52 pmWho's joining our Junk Journal Class?! I didn't join the junk journal class, but I watched it yesterday. I want to make a garden journal for my new house. (every time I move, I say I am going to do this, but then I don't). I want to include seed packets and flower labels as well as photos of what went where, and then notes about how things went, what was good, what was bad so I know what to do the next year. It's going to be for both flowers and veggies. I thought if I did something similar to your junk journal, then maybe it would be more fun and I would stick with it.
Can you recommend a book/journal to start with?
I would like pages thick enough to use some of the techniques you showed, especially stamping. (I don't do a lot of watercolor, so I don't need water color paper). I do not want to bind my own. I have no idea how many pages I will need, but enough to last several years.
Looking forward to your suggestions.
See ya there!Rachel_K wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 1:20 pmWho's joining our class today??

Beautiful page!trainmom wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 8:41 amThanks for all the advice so far, I have another question. I bought the Prima book, I'm going to use the white pages for flowers and the Kraft pages for veggies.
Here is my first page in the white section:
I'm not really sure how to use similar techniques on the Kraft pages. Obviously, I can put white or patterned paper on it and write on that. Any suggestions?
