are you superstitious??
i have never felt this was a bad day--my first born was born on a friday the 13th. but 17 yr old dd told us last night she has hated this day since she was 4 and she remembers her dad cutting his hand really bad at work and having to get tons of stitches.....that she has always worried about him on this day.........but this year she figures the worst that could happen is he could get a paper cut.......BAWWWWWWWWW
Not superstitious, but if I was, I wouldn't be worried about today. 13 was my Mom's lucky number, she got her Regents scholarship on the 13th, got married on the 13th, and lived in house number 13 (for over 50 years).

Normally I don’t think much about Friday the 13th but it is 2020 so I’m a little worried.
not superstitious. I have a nephew who was born on Friday the 13th, i have been places that people say there is a "presence" but I have never felt it. I have a sister-in-law that swears there's "someone" in one of my bedrooms. I think she's full of sh** because there is no reasoning for it. No one has lived here before and no one has died in the house.

Sorry for your loss.
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
No, not superstitious, but always enjoy thinking about it on Friday, the 13th!
An expert at anything was once a beginner!
I'm not superstitious at all. My parents are a little. I remember when I went in for my last check-up before my dd was born. My doc wanted to schedule an appointment for a C-Section as he was assuming she wasn't going to arrive on her due date and she could not go much past because of my diabetes. This was in the beginning of August and he looked at me and said "We can do it on the 13th, unless you have some aversion to the 13th." My mom was with me. I said "Nope, I don't have a problem with that." My mom said "I really think you should pick another day." I didn't. It didn't matter -- she came on her own on the 12th!

Not worried here. The 13th has given us my great grandmother, my fave aunt and my parents were married on the 13th.

nope, some good things have happened on the 13th. DH got fired from his job at a retailer (that I had been after him for 6 months telling him God wanted him to find a different job) and found a different job with higher job and collected unemployment . God took care of all the things we needed while he worked odd jobs until he got hired at a permanent job

I used to be indecisive; now I'm not sure.

I kinda feel the same! Just got news that in NYC schools might shut down totally by Monday (not that it would personally affect us since DD has been doing remote by choice all this time anyway) but that is how things started LAST Friday the 13th this year..........
Happy Scrapping!

LOL!!! This funny! babies have a way of coming when they are good and ready!
Like so many of you have already said...my daughter was also born on the 13th. It was Thursday, but her 1st birthday was on Friday the 13th the following year...and OH LORD...did she ever fit that stereotype! lol
By her first birthday, she was into the "creepy crawlies"...so of course the theme of her cake/party was worms, bugs, and spiders. I had to throw in some butterflies just to ease my own mind that I had a little girl! lol...
She LOVES when her birthday falls on Friday the 13th.
Her 13th birthday fell on Friday the 13th in 2013... OMG!!!
She was ecstatic!
she wated to go to the haunted hotel in Galveston and stay in the haunted room, go on a ghost tour, etc.
I gave her 13 gifts, which included things like:
the book Thirteen Reasons Why
the movies Thirteen Ghosts, Friday the 13th, and Thirteen etc.
She was over the moon happy that day.
SO no...I can't have any superstitions on Friday the 13th...
I mean...I can...but it wouldn't do me any good.
Just last night she took my younger daughter to the last night of the Phobia Haunted houses here in Houston. She waited until FRIDAYTHE THIRTEENTH of course! lol They had a blast!
Have a Wonderful Day! ~Misty
No, not superstitious but grew up with a Mom that was with alot of things. Since I was born on a Friday the 13th and shared it with my Aunt I always thought it was lucky until DH had a heart attack on a Friday the 13th.
