Great page! I like how you put the title on the baglove2stamp wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 4:24 pmI was sent 1 4x6 paper, 2 pieces of washi, floss, 3 flowers, and a bag. I had to use everything on a layout.

This is what I got from Louise to use on my layouts.
I am going to do two layouts with the items I got from Louise.
These are pictures of my granddaughter in front of bicycles over one of the canals in Amsterdam. I used on this layout the following: The Amsterdam card, the red star sequin, blue sequin and red twine (which I attached all three on the card), the postage stamp with a button and twine (top left corner), button with twine (between pictures) and the tag (bottom right).

I love this and I love that picture with the bikes on the bridge. My husband had his sabbatical in the Netherlands and I use to work there part-time so we have been there a lot. Photos like that bring me happy memories.

Well, I forgot to photograph my stuff before I used it, so I took a photo of the first page i made with it, and added a photo of the stuff I still have to use!
Bon Voyage tag/card; two Italia stamps upper right, journal paper with title 'My Travel Notes", but cut in two; and blue hemp cording crisscrossed under photo, and upper right circle.
Still to use: rest of envelope, Yugoslavia stamp (we didn't go there, but I can use it), and the other journaling card.
( Look at the difference in colors on these two pages)!
Combined with Becky Fleck #191
And here is the second layout that uses the rest of the goodies that Louise sent to me to complete the challenge: the journaling tag, the Yugoslavia stamp, and the envelope which I cut apart into a postmark and a return address. The envelope was bright white, so I used some distress ink to mute it down.
Combined with Sept. Manu with a Twist.

Your page is great! Some of the places you went used to be Yugoslavia, that’s why I sent you that stamp.Yankeegirl wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2020 8:46 pmWell, I forgot to photograph my stuff before I used it, so I took a photo of the first page i made with it, and added a photo of the stuff I still have to use!

Here's a picture of the ephemera I received from Louise.
My second layout to finish using the ephemera. I used on this layout a tag that was on the back of the happy memories card. I took the tag and punched a hold and then added the gold sequin and some of the red twine. I then used the larger postage stamp with the red button. I believe that was all my items. Thanks Louise for a fun challenge.

Louise sent me 3 flowers, 2 stickers, yellow floss and an envelope with Italy stamps on it. I used them all on this layout of my daughter's trip to the Vatican City in Rome. Even though the colors in the envelope do not go with the papers and picture, I like how it turned out. I needed to bring some green in with that flower for I have the small stripe across the top. I was nervous about the yellow flowers not matching either, but the sticker with my title matched great. I added a small amount of the floss as it was almost a neon yellow. I have some up in top right and some mixed in the flowers.

Beautiful. You made it all match perfectly

I really enjoyed this challenge. I have tried to post mine but I have to get my kids involved. I don't know what the issue is but as soon as I can catch up with one of them I will.
And the winner is...Sherelm
I hope everyone had fun. I have an idea of bringing this back slightly differently in a few months. Stay tuned.

Happy for you, Sher! Glad you moved forward with your treasured photos, that's certainly a plus.
And, thank you, Louise! What a fun challenge this was for me. I'm very happy with where your goodies took me on my layout.

Congratulations Sharon!
Congrats Sher! Enjoy your GC!
Thank you so much, Louise, for doing this challenge. It really gave me a SUPER nudge to even START on the Sesame Place pictures. And of course it was a bit of art therapy as that little guy is now 21 and doing much of his own thing these days. It was nice to look back. I think I did 7 pages so far (out of 7 rolls of film - ack!) - some with and some without the stuff you sent. I even got an album on sale at Michaels so I am just putting the pages right in. Go me, haha! There are a lot more pages to come (at some point) but thanks for the start! I'm looking forward to the next one you do!

Congrats, Sher! Thanks for hosting this Challenge, Louise! It was a very unique and fun idea, with just the right amount of "challenge" to it!
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
