Hey Cherries! We will be working on cleaning up and updating the gallery. What kinds of things would you like to see added, removed, etc? How can we make it more user friendly?
Thank you!
I have on occasion wanted to comment back on a comment that was left or answer a question and don't see a way to do that. That would be great. Also maybe a way to just like a comment

Ooh, yes, being able to address a comment would be fun!
Happy Scrapping!

Being able to edit a comment that we left instead of having to delete it and start again if we made a mistake or left something out that we wanted to say.
I love most of it the way it is. It is one of the best galleries of any place on the web! Please don't remove anything! However, I would love the ability to "like" or "love" a comment and to be able to reply to a comment so it notifies the person to whom I'm replying. ACOT rocks!

This may be of a more personal level, but I remember when you had a limit of how many layouts a person could load in a day. I think it was (4) four. I miss that. There are times when someone loads 10+ at a time, makes it hard to see very many others. Just my opinion. Other than that, it is great! I do like what the others have said about liking a comment.

Me, too!
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
yes it would be nice to be able to comment back to someone and have them know
i also would like the daily limit to be lower and less non acot design team labeled advertising posts--if that makes sense...LOL

I agree that this would be great! I sometimes hit submit before proofing my post.
yes, when first started using the gallery I answered back on the comments but soon realized that person was not going to see it!
There is quite a learning curve of adding photos to the messageboard. So different from what everyone is doing on facebook, insta, etc. I have also found limitations with mobile devices in copying a link vs. the image. I certainly do not have the answer for an easy fix for this, but since just starting to add things to the gallery and participate in challenges a couple months ago those are the dilemmas I had in the beginning. It took me about 3 days of hit and misses to get my photo for my profile, and I still need to add some fun to my signature block. maybe some youtube tutorials would help there as well.

I totally agree with this. I have seen where someone posted 25 in one day which can push your layout back three pages, therefore not getting much visibility. Maybe limit the number allowed to post in a 12 hour period would help. I feel that there is no way someone did that many layouts in a row. It looks like they just posted what layouts they had done to show them which is fine, but limit the number to post to give everyone time to "SHINE".
I'm on board with all of the above thoughts! It would be great to reply to a comment someone has made on your projects so they are aware you have acknowledged it. Also, a limit on uploads in a day would be nice. When I have done LOTW, there have been entire page(s) with one persons projects. This usually happens when people are applying for guest designer even though they are in a labeled album.
For when you submit to the Gallery - Can the Techniques be updated?

I agree with all the suggestions! I am guilty of uploading a few layouts when I t have time to do it rather than one at a time. That is an easier process for me.

This was my thinking, there is so much talent here, that it is nice to see many without going back so many pages.

I agree with others above. Also, when I post a layout that is a scraplift of a layout in the ACOT gallery, I would like to be able to include a photo of the layout I scraplifted. I have not been able to figure out how to do that -- is that possible? Or if I am using a sketch from Pinterest, is there a way to include a photo of that sketch? I have only been able to figure out how to add photos from my own computer hard drive. Thanks!

I always save them to my computer and then upload on the additional spaces after I upload my layout. There are 5 file spaces available.

I have been able to do that. I just save the layout I am lifting on my laptop and then add it as the second Choose File.
