A lovely card to reach out to a friend you cannot see during this time!VickiR wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 12:13 pmMy first card for the May card challenge. I didn't use the sketch on this one, but will with the next one I am working on. I am mailing this card to a scrappy friend that I miss so much since we retired. We were supposed to go to a crop together the end of April, but alas, that did not happen!

Sent this card to my youngest daughter who is recovering from an injury from a snowboarding accident. I make a few cards a week to send to her.
I am mailing this card to my daughter in Idaho today. She is always so appreciative of receiving the cards I make.
I used the sketch as inspiration for my design. I am sending this to my Mom. Throughout the pandemic she continues to send over activities for my kids to do to keep them busy and learning. I am so appreciative!

This card is for a dear friend who lives in MI. She has metastatic breast cancer. She is strong and fearless and is always advocating for more funds/services and research for a cure of stage 4 breast cancer. I am constantly amazed by her and how she handles everything. We live in different states so I always mean to send more cards and notes of encouragement but scraping always gets put the side and it doesn't happen. So now I am focusing on making and getting some cards sent! Thanks for the motivation!

I made this card for my son and DIL as he was just laid off because of COViD and they are taking steps to follow their dreams and make things work out.
Retired, scrapping and happy!

I'm sure they appreciate your support -- it is a difficult time to follow your dreams right now.sherriscraps wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 11:59 amI made this card for my son and DIL as he was just laid off because of COViD and they are taking steps to follow their dreams and make things work out.

I used the sketch for this card, and I already sent it to my Step-Mom.
The cards I created for NSD were given to my Mom and my BF's Mom...
This one went to her, along with a gift card for her favorite Mexican Food restaurant in her town.

Don't fear the challenge, challenge the fear.

I did both options, I used the sketch and I am going to send this card to my sister (I will put it in the mail today).
I changed the sketch into a tri-fold card (I think this sketch really lends itself to that).
I am going to send her some old high school memorabilia of hers that I found last week, she does not know it's coming. I used this very old Simple Stories collection that I bought when my kids were in elementary school, and I have no use for it now.
and I decorated the inside with her graduation year.
combined with the 3-in-a-row challenge.

A birthday card for my DGS who will be 12 next week. He is really into geology right now, rocks, fossils, geodes etc. Made it yesterday morning and put into mail yesterday afternoon. Sorry it is sideways. I took pix with my phone and posted from that to here. Not sideways on my phone. Tried to edit but no luck.
