This was a really hard week to pick just ONE traditional layout of the week. Because of all the challenges in August, the gallery is bursting with so much talent and goodness and inspiration. When I am assigned to a week, I keep a notebook and write down every day layouts that catch my eye. Then I go back and pick one from each category. This time it was really hard in the scrapbook layout category! I feel guilty because picking just one excludes several others that are just as spectacular. But here goes:
TRADITIONAL GALLERY: 1scrappymom ( Shannon )
This layout is so colorful and just screams FUN to me. I loved Shannon's well cropped photos, and her use of lots of reds in her embellishments to pull the red from the photo. Her placement, layering, and diversity of die cuts adds to the overall theme, and the bits of splatter are a great touch. I especially liked the total border of various tickets, which again add to the theme. Awesome banner, love the stars, and the handwritten journaling tells the story. What's not to love!
DIGITAL GALLERY: meterr70
The black and white theme really caught my eye, along with the great use of white space. The little pops of blue really add dramatic interest to this layout. Great title for the photos, too!
CARD GALLERY: Sara Scraps
A caveat here: Altenew Layering Stamps fill three bins in my scraproom! So when I saw the beautiful, bold blooms on this card, I immediately was drawn to them. The dual coloring makes them pop, and the way Sara used the bits of patterned paper and a torn edge underneath makes this card so beautiful. Love the enamel dots, too.
GENERAL CRAFTS: Michelle Zeruli
With Halloween coming up faster than I wanted it to, I spotted this adorable Halloween bag what would make a great gift or treat bag for this time of year.

The beginning of my week started with the celebration of National Dog Week, and the gallery has quite a few sweet photos of our family of dogs here. Make sure you check out all those cute faces! But this one spoke to me. I want this dog!
Awesome dog, wimom (Rhonda)! Your crisp photography and close up cropping make this a spectacular photo in my book!
That's it, folks. There were no tags or hybrid layouts posted during my week.
I am running away from my responsibilities,

Fabulous choices! Congrats to the Chosen Cherries!
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
Amazing choices this week! Congratulations to you all
