This is based on Janet from RTS Scrapbooking. She has a video for each of the steps for this challenge. There also are files available for each of steps 2-7 with the dimensions listed for cutting and for each layout on the facebook group Love RTS found here.
- Create a 'homemade' scrapbook kit (any theme allowed) and take a picture of it to submit to the challenge. You can use pre-made kits, collections, anything is good but it must have a minimum of 5 background papers and 5 'main' papers plus some embellishments. Video here.
- Cut your 4 main papers per Janet's instructions. Video here.
- Create LO #1 using the papers Janet specifies in this video. Any number of pictures is OK, the challenge is to use 1. You can decide to leave out, add in, or cut into the papers as you wish but start with the ones in the challenge.
- Create LO #2 using the papers Janet specifies in this video. Any number of pictures is OK, the challenge is to use 2. You can decide to leave out, add in, or cut into the papers as you wish but start with the ones in the challenge.
- Create LO #3 using the papers Janet specifies in this video. Any number of pictures is OK, the challenge is to use 3. You can decide to leave out, add in, or cut into the papers as you wish but start with the ones in the challenge.
- Create LO #4 using the papers Janet specifies in this video. Any number of pictures is OK, the challenge is to use 4. You can decide to leave out, add in, or cut into the papers as you wish but start with the ones in the challenge.
- Create cards or 1 or more extra layouts using the scraps. Janet makes 4 cards in this video. Janet creates bonus layouts in this video.
- Post all of your pictures in the 4x4 challenge gallery! But post them here, in one single post as well. You can reserve your spot early and edit it as you go to add your pictures.
- This challenge closes May 5th at 12pm, or 5 weeks from now. I may decide to extend if people need more time.
- You can enter twice if you do two separate kits and all the required LOs.

Rule Summary:
- Post, in one post, at least one picture of your kit showing at least your 4 main papers.
- Post in the same post your renditions of layouts 1-4. You must at least start with the papers and sizes that Janet chose for each layout, but can change it up from there. Feel free to use Janet or the facebook group for inspiration!
- Please use the 4x4 challenge gallery when submitting, but it is not required.
- For an extra entry, post your cards or an extra layout using the leftover materials from the papers in your main post (not a separate one).
- You may enter a second time using a second separate kit, please use a separate post.
- Edited to add: You MAY have an extra 'entry' if you do all 2-page LOs, but please keep in mind the 4-entry maximum.
- The maximum number of entries is 4 total counting bonuses.
- Submit your completed entry(s) by May 5th at 12pm. Winner is chosen randomly for a $20 gift card to ACOT.
- You may combine each LO with 1 other challenge if you so choose.
