Sorry for the delay in getting my winner picked, using random.org the winning number is.....#3 emmapaige! Congrats Chris, I'll be sending your gc to you shortly!
FINAL SCORE IS IN....Patriots 13 and Rams 3.....here's what that means for you:
Part one of this challenge is a spelling challenge, part 2 was determined by the final score and part 3 is the technique. Please edit your spot in the thread to add your entry.
For those of you who picked the NE Patriots:
1. You must use an item on your layout that starts with each of the letters PATS.
2. You must use 1 picture AND 3 of the same type of embellishment (3 stickers or 3 enamel dots or 3 buttons, etc.)
3. You must use a misting/splattering technique using one or more of the team colors: Navy Blue, Red, White
For those of you who picked the LA Rams:
1. You must use an item on your layout that starts with each of the letters RAMS.
2. You must use 3 pictures on your layout.
3. You must use a misting/splattering technique using one or more of the team colors: Blue, Gold, White (You can use any light to medium blue, just not navy).
I think you're all familiar with how the spelling part of the challenge works. It can be a manufacturer (Photoplay) or a color (pink) or a type of product (Punched border). Just list along with your layout what you used for each letter. Just have FUN with it this month
Hi cherries! Thought I'd pop in on my lunch break and get my February challenge posted for you as tomorrow I know will be a long, busy day for me. I want to give you all a little extra time to place your bets For February I thought it would be fun to throw something different at you that's not so much focused on a specific technique but more of a fun game Here's how it will work:
You have until the Superbowl coin toss on Sunday, Feb 3rd to save your spot here in this thread and just tell me New England Patriots or Los Angeles Rams. It doesn't have to be your favorite, or who you think will win. Just pick one and post your reply in this thread. After the Superbowl, when I know the final score, I will come back and update you on the rest of the challenge. I plan to incorporate a simple technique, too, but the final score will determine part 2 of the challenge. Sound fun?
Full disclosure, I'm not too psyched out the Superbowl this year (hope I'm not offending anyone out there) . So this is my way of making the Superbowl a little more fun this year!
Rules:
Open to NEW layouts only
One entry per person
You can combine with any other monthly challenge that allows
No gallery spot, link your entry into this thread
Deadline is midnight, March 3, 2019
A winner will be chosen to receive a $5 ACOT gift card from me
Most important rule......have FUN!!

New England Patriots
For the challenge I had picked the Patriots, this is what I came up with...
Part 1-P, pinwheel, A, Arrow, T, tag, S, stamp.
Part 2-1 photo, 3 hearts
Part 3-navy splatter on white, white splatters on blue

I'm hoping the LA Rams!! Anyone that follows me on FB knows that I don't necessarily want the Rams to win - I just want the Patriots to lose!!
1. Use an item on your layout that starts with each of the letters
R= Ranger Ink Distress Hickory Smoke
A= American Crafts Thickers
M= Maggie Holmes Papers and Accents
S= Simple Stories Background Paper
2. Use 3 pictures - Yes!
3. You must use a misting/splattering technique with team colors: Blue, Gold, White
I used Heidi Swapp Gold Shine and Shimmerz Jeni B Bleu for my splattering.

I'm not surprised. I think your team got robbed!
I'm not for either team and never watch the Super Bowl, but I'll say New England Patriots.

Down here in Texas, we were hoping for a Texas Super Bowl since the Cowboys and the Texans played very well and made it all the way to the playoffs. Nobody here likes the Patriots, so I'll say the Los Angeles Rams

I totally agree! The Saints should be playing on Sunday!

I will choose the New England Patriots.

I’m lgetting a kick from the responses I’m seeing from all you cherries! I’m with you, not lovin’ seeing the Patriots again (eye roll). I probably won’t watch the game but will check out the final score for my challenge
Stacy
Got to go with the Rams... or anyone that's playing the Patriots... It's an Indiana thing.
