Edison NJ Scrapbook Expo

Anyone thinking of attending the Scrap and Stamp Expo in Edison NJ at the end of August??? I am going up with Laurie (lmcgill) and Erin (celticrose) From Thurseday thru Saturday!! Would love to get together with anyone else!!!

This is a little too far for me. But, I am heading to the Expo in Schaumburg, IL the 17th of August. Can't wait. Joannie and I are going with my dd and another scrappy friend.

I'm hoping to go on Friday, but have some other things still up in the air. What's on Thursday? That might work for me. I thought it started Friday morning.

I looked at the website. When I've gone before, I just did the early bird ticket on Friday and shopped. I could probably do the all day crop on Friday instead or in addition if that's what you are doing. I would love to meet up.

Louise, we are just getting there Thursday night after we all work, but not going to Expo until Friday, and cropping Friday and Saturday, then coming home late Saturday night! Hope you can make it!

I should be able to crop with you on Friday! I live 20 minutes away.

Ann, this may be doable. Let me see if my scrapping buddy wants to go. She had minor foot surgery and a week ago, but she's from NJ so she may like that. I'll keep you posted.

I wish I could go but since we are down to one car, I won't feel comfortable driving that far and leaving DH home without transportation.

If you want to take the Amtrak up to Metropark, then I could pick you up.

I hate to drive (and I do way too much of it lately) so I know all about public transportation. The Amtrak is pricey. If you decide you are interested in trying to get here on public transportation, then PM me and we will figure it out.
Or maybe Sher can pick you up, I have no idea if you are on her way or not.

Maybe I'll look into seeing if there are any hotel rooms available and then hubby and I could drive up together and he could chill in the hotel room.

Oh good grief - I just looked closer at the dates and that's my hubby's birthday. Even though I know he would say that it would be okay for me to leave him in a hotel room while I scrapped and shopped, I don't want to do that. It's going to be his 70th so I'd like to do something special for him/with him. Hopefully we can all get together somewhere another time.
