Hi Cherries!
As you gather supplies, extra adhesive, print photos and generally get organized for scrapping - Don't forget to plan your food and beverages for the full day, too.
We all need to keep our energy level up and creativity flowing to really enjoy all the fun, games and challenges that will be going on from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Eastern Time).
Be sure to include some snacks along with your favorite caffeinated beverages and waters, of course, to stay hydrated!
See you at the ACOT online crop!

Thanks for the reminder. Now I need to find a way to keep snacks in the house for a week...

It's ok, I scrapbook.

our teenager will be out of town that day so im pretty sure snacks will be safe...ha ill buy a few things the day before....and then im gonna have to give up sleeping in so I can be up and ready at 8am
I may be the odd woman out but I do not snack much while scrapping. I will make sure I have salad fixings and coffee creamer. I do drink a lot of coffee while I scrap. Photos are printed, checked the adhesive and I had stocked up on it before I left for Europe. Got a huge stack of new travel goodies to play with. I am ready!!!
Got my Dr Mountain Dew supply. I need some chocolate treats too.
Good point LOL!mrozwood wrote:Thanks for the reminder. Now I need to find a way to keep snacks in the house for a week...

I don't snack when I scrap either. House rules, no food on the second floor.scrapy1967 wrote:I may be the odd woman out but I do not snack much while scrapping. I do not really snack while scrapping either but I do take breaks and get in my food supply, lol. I always have gum, hard candy and hot tamales on hand though Can't forget the coffee to diet coke ratio as well!

I pretty much just do coffee or iced tea or things like red vines and raisons..LOL if I did a no 2nd floor rule it would only affect me.....boo hiss
I'll be bringing pretzels, carrot sticks w/ranch dip, and as many Diet Pepsi's I can fit in my cooler. I am sure the retreat hostess will have some other snacks.

I don't either. No matter how careful I try to be something will end up happening to my stuff. So, I just take breaks and snack that way!scrapy1967 wrote:I may be the odd woman out but I do not snack much while scrapping. I will make sure I have salad fixings and coffee creamer. OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
I'm always ready in that dept! DH will make me breakfast. Lunch will either be him making me something or buying me something, or leftovers from Friday night. And Dinner is whatever he makes me. Heehee..I'm spoiled!

I'm off on the Friday before (and the Monday after) and I have volunteered to take a meal to our pastor and his family, they have a new baby..... I will either make enough for us to eat as well on Saturday or get something simple like sandwich and salad stuff. I need to make sure that I have snack stuff to last for the weekend - hoping that I am able to scrap ALL weekend!!!

OMgosh the struggle!!! My son is 16 and runs 7 miles/day with the track/cross country team. That boy may literally eat me out of house and home before this season is over! Sounds like the perfect setup! Maybe I'll go with that plan and hope my dh or ds will help me out. Definitely need to get my favorite snacks and have one of the guys make a Starbucks run in the morning.blbabe1234 wrote:I'm always ready in that dept! DH will make me breakfast. Now that sounds like a PLAN! Scrapping all weekend would be awesome! Plus a Cherry Chat on Friday night!Monroe1218 wrote:I'm off on the Friday before (and the Monday after) and I have volunteered to take a meal to our pastor and his family, they have a new baby..... If I have plenty of ice tea available, I won't need any snacks.

I don't generally snack when I'm scrapping as I always find a way to make a mess on my layout (no matter how careful I am!)... Then again, if I'm sitting there for many hours...
