I guess we all need a break from our hobbies once in awhile. But I had this great idea that I could make extra money with my supplies or making things for others and stopped any projects for me. Well it’s definitely more work than extra money and then my joy meter was busted so now it’s back to scrapping for me and my family. I came to the store tonight to stock up on some adhesive and next thing I know, I’m on a cherry hunt and then starting a new gallery and now onto the message board! My plan is to have at least 2 nights per week for scrapping and engaging on the boards. Hopefully more time than that but I’m not going to set unrealistic goals for myself.
Can’t wait to start participating in the fun and companionship on these boards again!
Welcome back! Alot has changed around here, but for the better! Looking forward to getting to know you!!

Welcome back!
Welcome Back! I, too, have arrived back recently.. Some medical issues that have come up keep me on the quiet side. I have also just finished moving my 84 year old mother that is beginning yo show signs of Alzheimer's nearer to me in an assisted living complex that she loves. When we moved her last week she was the oldest resident in her subdivision. Right now I am relieved, she is watched after, is enjoying meaningful conversations with other residents, and hasn't been this happy in a very long time!
Welcome back Jan! I can't wait to see your work and get to know you!!

I'm so glad you're back! I've missed you. So sorry to hear your mother is showing signs of Alzheimer's, but glad she's in a place where she can be cared for and is happy.

Hello Jan. I don't know if I was here on the board before you left. I started posting in 2010. But...WELCOME BACK!! Glad you are scrapping & I hope you can join in on our challenges too!

Welcome back as well! I think at some point we all have to step back for various reasons, but it is a great feeling when you return and everyone is so welcoming! Can not wait to see your creations!

welcome back Jan!!
I am sorry your business adventure did not work as you had hoped but also happy that it did not ruin your love of scrapping. I have found scrapping is the only "me" time I get and I just need to go in my room and be around my scrappy stuff. Sometimes I just cut sheets of photod. Sometimes I just straighten up. Sometimes I will look at partially finished LO's and add a few touches. Sometimes I just sit and look out the window. But that is my peace!

Hello! It is fun to explore the ACOT site and realize how much you missed interacting with Cherries here. It really is like another part of your family. Welcome back!

I used to be indecisive; now I'm not sure.
