I currently have a fiskars Trimmer that has gone from bad to worse. I changed the white rubber strip and that didn’t help at all. First, the ruler measurements are horrible on it. Second, it cuts in anything but a straight line. What trimmers work best for you?
*I have the rotary travel one.

I Love my Fiskar trimmer. Do you have the trimmer that has the wire in it? I have not had any trouble with mine. I wish I could be more help.
I also have a Fiskar, it works fine as long as I replace the blade from time to time

I am still using the CM trimmer I bought about 20 years ago. The blades last forever and I have dropped it, taken it to many crops, even on a cruise and it still works perfectly!!
Have used Fiskars too, and they are also pretty durable.

I have a Fiskar, the one with the guide wire. I've had it for a long time and it works ok. But I have a Tonic Guillotine trimmer on my wishlist.

This is similar to the big trimmer I have - have had it for close to 20 years and the smaller version of this one too. I like that the blades are easily replaceable and it seems to work well after years of use. It's been dropped, packed tightly into boxes and lots of other adventures and it seems to hold up well. Both of my trimmers are old Fiskars ones - I would recommend them both.

when my beloved Carl trimmer died...I got the Fiskars with the guide wire....ive had it about 5 yrs now and love it.....and the blades are easy to find and not epensive
I saw this one at Archiver's before they closed, I tried it at the store and really liked it. I like that all the grid measurements are under plexiglass and cannot wear off (my Making Memories all the measurements wore off), I like that it is self sharpening and the blades do not have to be replaced. I priced the cost of replacement blades and this was the best deal. I bought mine over 5 years ago and still cuts just like new, The down side is the size. It does fold in half for transporting though. A little costly too, but I got mine at Jo's with a 60% off coupon. Here's a pic of what I have.
I have had this one for ever it seems like(years). I love it...

Thanks for the info!
I went to a big box store today and used a coupon. I picked up the surecut Paper Trimmer with the wire guide by fiskars. *crossing fingers*

I use an older Fiskars Rotary Blade Paper Trimmer and still love it. I get straight cuts and have only replaced the blade a few times. Mine does not have the white background and is much easier to see measurements than this new version. Hope you like your new purchase!

I have a Cricut one. I’ve had it since like 2009. I just get replacement blades. It has been great!
