Scrap A Day, September 15th
Good morning cherries! Its FRIDAY!!! FInally! DH got home from Houston yesterday before 5pm and the pups were SO EXCITED to see him!! He wasn't ready to wake up and go to work this morning, lol!

So who has scrappy plans today? Me - highly doubt it. A few emails came across my InBox last night so I need to tackle those first before I move on to anything else. We'll see what happens!

how about you?

Re: Scrap A Day, September 15th
Good Morning Brandy!!

TGIF ImageImageImage  I cannot wait to get out of work at 3:30.  It is so quiet here and I have very little to keep me busy.  Finally got all the way through that movie last night and I am reading one of my library books today, hopefully can finish that if it stays this quiet.

Not sure about getting much scrapping done this weekend.  DS is dropping the boys off for the weekend I don't know what time.  I think I even get to take them to the race track tomorrow so that means they will sleep over again.
Last night I did fill a box of paper and some embellies to give my mom for her projects at the library and started organizing some more of my stuff, making the scrap room cleaner (with containers) so I can quickly move things when dh starts working on the painting again.  And he will.  I am guilting him into it by keeping my mouth shut while he spends every night in the garage, weekends racing.  My room WILL be done before he goes back to work!

Have a great weekend all!!

I will try to get some scrapping done tomorrow or at least a couple kits put together. I won't be able to scrap with my aunt though tomorrow :( Just not enough time bc she's an hour away and my niece's BD party is tomorrow too. At least I'll see her the 30th!

I got behind on paperwork and need to finish up invoices and do our sales tax report... then I have a couple pocket letters to do.  I'm trying to collect a state themed one from all 50 states... this one will be number 27!  I was hoping to get it done and taken to the post office today, because I always miss the time that the one PO in our area is open on Saturday!

Re: Scrap A Day, September 15th
Good morning! I thought my kitchen was done, but we have failed electrical inspection. No big deal though, just one outlet not working and its more the contracter's problem than mine. I posted some photos of my kitchen, but they seem to be sideways, I guess because I posted them from my phone, and I usually post from a computer. Anyway, they are here: http://www.acherryontop.com/gallery/239767-kitchen if you want to look, just turn your head sideways Image

I've been putting things back today, I had put lots of stuff on the dining room table and even though there was no painting in that room, everything is covered with spackle dust, so I am dusting things and re-arranging. Some things aren't going back, a little change is always good. I am also enjoying my quiet house, no workers, no children, just me. I may scrap, I started a page 2 days ago, but I may just continue with putting things back. Also, its a  beautiful day today, so I should probably go outside.

Re: Scrap A Day, September 15th
Good afternoon!

I'm hoping to leave early today, so maybe some scrapping later.
I looked at a house to rent yesterday, liked it enough to ask them to ask about having my great dane (pets are ok with owner approval) so now I am just waiting to hear back if Max can come to. Then, hopefully, we'll start the application to rent it. The only problem is that it is not available until the middle of Oct and we're supposed to be out of the current place at the end of this month. So, we also need to see if we can extend our notice 30 days...Image

Re: Scrap A Day, September 15th
My work day is nearly done.  I was planning for a quite evening...perhaps with some scrapping, but it looks like my DD has a fencing match tonight, so as soon as I am done with work, I have to hop in the car and drive to Indianapolis (about 2-2 1/2 hours) so I can watch her match.  THEN DS has to be on the bus at 5:15AM tomorrow morning for a XC meet.  My DH will go to the XC meet and I will travel back to Muncie (90 minutes) to attend a Dean's list breakfast with DD.  I'm HOPING I can relax tomorrow night.  Then Sunday, DH and I are doing another 5K trail run.  I'm gonna try not to fall this time.  The bruises are finally going away.  HOWEVER, my sweet 104 pound Marshmallow was "kind" enough to trap my knee between the end of the coffee table and her body the other night and I have a HUGE bruise on the inside of my other leg/knee.  I'm a mess!  LOL  At least it's not sore any more.  But to give you all a visual, I am a red head with typical pastey white skin...so imagine a 3" purple bruise on that!  ImageImageImage  It's beautiful!

I'm not sure how much I will get on-line this weekend...so have a great one everyone!!

Re: Scrap A Day, September 15th
I will be scrapping tonight on my bed with Dolly.  She has no scrapbook manners, yet, but if I could teach cats to leave the stuff alone, I can do the same with Dolly.  Scully started to chew paper near the end, maybe she was a little upset with not feeling well, and I didn't know that.  She did give me a laugh though.  I walked away from my stuff on my bed one night with her on her blanket, and when I came back, she had the corner eaten off a downloaded sketch I had printed out (May have even been BF challenge) and she had a piece left on her lips and nose.  I said "What did you do?" and she spit the paper out.  Just like that, like what are you going to do about it?

I'll be working on the two baby books my sister wants done.  And then I'll pack them up for Sunday scrapping in Hershey.  Get the chocolate ready!!!

By the way....I kind of feel like we are neighbors! I live in Michigan, up near Saginaw Bay, but we end up in/around Ft Wayne a lot it seems. My son lives in Missouri so we drive thru Ft WAyne a lot, plus one MUST make the trek to the Vera Bradley sale every April!

I took a weekends only position (lots of reasons...sounds bad but it's actually good), so the weekend scrapping is out for me. But bring on the chocolate ANY day!
