My scrapping in the past few months has really become more of a challenge than fun. I have tried everything I can think of to relight the spark, but it is just not there. I have dropped my spot on a design team, and to be honest, for now I am stepping back from here as well. I know I have a challenge posted for May, and if you choose to do it, wonderful. But from this point forward, at least for now, I will no longer be hosting one. A huge thanks to all that have played along with me the past several years, that meant so much. I have not touched paper in over 30 days, which for me is huge. I know my life right not is a bit on the crazy side, but the passion is gone. I hope to load an occasional layout, but even that is grasping right now. I have grown to love all of you and feel like you are family, so I will miss it here. I hope to keep in touch when I can. Keep scrapping, I will be lingering behind the scenes I am sure!

Awe...Susan...I'm so sorry. I totally understand how life sometimes gets crazy and scrapping just gets pushed aside. But please remember that we're all here for you. So if you need to chit chat. Vent. Whatever. Reach out to any of us. Pop in when you can. Hugs!

So sorry, Susan! I understand as well, that sometimes life is there and scrapping is not. Hugs to you, and hope to see you around. Please visit often!

I'm sorry. But maybe you need the break- and if you don't push it you can recharge ! That's my hope for you!
We all get overwhelmed with life and how busy it can get. We will all be around when you have the time to pop in or if you need to talk or anything!!

I'll miss "seeing" you around! I understand completely - this happened to me a couple of years ago. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't make myself scrapbook. It took a while, but I'm back to scrapping on a fairly regular basis. We will all be here if you want to stop and chat!

You will be missed Susan!! I'm still wanting to get down to Myrtle Beach sometime....I will try to look you up!! ((HUGS))

I'm so sorry Susan but I totally understand. I've thought about "walking away" several times over the past few years but when I look at all the stuff I've accumulated, I knew I couldn't.
I hope you get a chance to pop in here when you can. I'll miss seeing your beautiful layouts and photography in the gallery!!

hugs Susan....weve all prob been there at one time or another....I haven't really scrapped but a couple layouts in months....just not feeling super inspired...grrrrrrrrr be sure and at least pop in to say howdy!!!
I'm sorry you are feeling this way... I have gone months at a time, and even over a year without scrapping but so far have always come back to it. The first layout is always the hardest, but once I get going, I'll get on a roll for a while, until life gets in the way again. But I love the creative outlet when I can do it. I hope this is just a phase for you and that your "passion" returns sometime in the future. Thanks for hosting the challenges, and all the best to you! Hope to see you back.
We are going to miss you here. My scrapping has been very little since I returned to work.
I'm still going to try to see you when we get to the beach. Hope Bike Week is not making things hard for you.

I'm sorry to read your message. But please know, I understand -- I think many of us do, and can most certainly relate. Sometimes a step back to just live and deal with life is often the catalyst for a return to a former passion. Just take care of yourself and everything else will fall in place.
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
So sorry to hear that - but totally understand! There have been times in the last 14 months when I have stopped - sometimes for several weeks. Life happens and things get in our way - even our own selves. There have been times when I have wondered whether I should just stop - but after several days scrapping calls me back.
I hope that you will drop in from time to time.

Hi everyone! My name is Susan and I love to scrapbook!
Hugs to you my friend. It can get difficult. I will miss you Layouts as I always loved them and I think you do amazing work. But, sometimes we have to look at the whole picture in life. Know we love you and will miss you.

I used to be indecisive; now I'm not sure.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Susan but totally understand life can get hectic at times. Remember we're always here to listen, chat, etc. Hang in there! Sending you Big Hugs!
Susan I am so sorry to hear you are going through this but I totally understand. Sometimes you just need a break, especially if you don't have the passion and you just start to feel like it is something that you have to do rather than something that you want to do. Sometimes when there is so much else to do and so much else going on that can happen. I will miss seeing you and your wonderful two pagers here, but will be looking forward to seeing you when you do pop in! Hugs to you.
I feel that way too sometimes. Just give yourself a break if you want to come back, it seems the short time that Ive been around here, that everyone will welcome you with open arms. I know me personally I have to take week/s breaks sometimes months. It gets overwhelming with life and everything. Recenter and see if you make it back here. Hope all is well.

(((HUGS))) Susan! Hope all will be okay and you will at least stay on the board and chat... Maybe it will help your mojo return... And spend lots of time outside, don't stop taking the photos! Maybe you need a mini vacation where you can see some new sites and relax! I know I am trying to do something like that too. PM if you ever need to chat

Susan, while this is a group of scrapbookers, I feel it's more like a band of friends, first and foremost. So even if you never get your mojo back (but I'm sure you will) just join in for a gab session, and avoid the scrapping messages. It pained me to read your message, your sadness came through. Please just take care of yourself.
I know where you are coming from. I have been there and have not scrapped in years. Actually since the MSN groups disbanded and then a few others, I lost the desire as well. But after looking through some of my albums I thought I would give it a try again. I invested way to much money to throw it away. Take the needed break. Hope to see you back again.
Susan do not give up. I thought my scrapping days were over. I took almost three months off with only a layout here and there, I did not think I would ever love it like I used to. Then my sister and I went on vacation and when I got back I was feeling refreshed and ready to go. I guess I just needed a long break from it and to clear my head.
I really hope you find your way back like I did!!
