Re: Brandy's NSD Fashion Challenge
I uploaded to the gallery on Saturday, but I hadn't posted this thread yet.  Here's my layout, with inked edges and 3 buttons (flower centers).  My main inspiration was the colors, mostly the soft peachy pink, but some blue/greens as well.  Not so much yellow, except my buttons are actually yellow.  I also took inspiration from the shoes, and I used a 4x6 card with quote that has a grey background with white hearts that look like polka dots.  And I used the sketch!

Brandy:  I loved the pastels you chose, accented with gray, and then I thought the dots were a perfect touch!  NOTE TO SELF:  Since I'm anal and have to thread my buttons, do NOT glue down 11 of them and then spend the morning sewing them on. . .  lol  The edges are inked in gray.  PS I flipped the sketch.

I was inspired by the pinks and grays and florals.
Edges are inked in old rose and buttons were used as well as the sketch.

Inspired by the colours of the Fashion Board.
Used the Burning Tool to give the appearance of inking on the edges of the papers.

Photos are of my hubby as a little boy (the blondie!) with his family.

Re: Brandy's NSD Fashion Challenge
I took my inspiration from the peach and grey colors, with a splash of blue and yellow/gold. I liked the herringbone pattern in the sweater, which I picked up in the yellow patterned paper with a similar pattern. I picked up the polka dots in the dotted peach paper and 4 of the buttons. And the fish are in the shape of the sneakers!
All paper edges are inked with brown ink.
I used 6 buttons.
And I used the SNS sketch for some extra sprinkles!

Here's my entry!  I was inspired by the blues, brown, polka-dots, and a pop of yellow (button/washi). And how perfect are those giant brown buttons for Leia buns?? ImageImageImage

Re: Brandy's NSD Fashion Challenge
I used the sketch. The inked edges are hard to see - I had to go back and add some of them - I was thinking ink and used stamps but did go and ink some edges. Tried to do some more after taking the photos too. Hope you will accept it.  I was inspired by the polka dots and the yellow and gray colors.
