DH has gone out to do errands (and to escape the mess). He is picking us up subs for lunch.

I got a grilled chicken sandwich then discovered it had ranch dressing on it. Yuck. So I have it to my daughter and for a frappucino instead. lol
I just had a philly cheese steak sandwich that was delicious.

Just had another brownie...but hoping the hubs will fulfill my request for Chick-Fil-A.
It's funny...we hadn't had any in our state until January...2 opened and we go through waves now. Sometimes we want it all the time, other times we can go weeks without even mentioning it. My husband's workplace relocated their office and the 3rd opened there at the end of March. It took his commute from 7 minutes to 30 and CFA opening was the one highlight he was looking forward to. And then he got unjustly (in violation of their union contract) laid off 5 days after they opened...his biggest disappointment in the timing was that he only got to have CFA for lunch twice (a freebie for the staff to practice a few days before they opened and then again the day that they opened). He already knew the powers that be (who also lost their position just under 2 weeks ago...karma!!!!!) were targeting him and he found a great job listing when they got the warning for the layoffs and he was offered the position the day after he was laid off, beating out over 300 other applicants. It came with a serious pay cut but now instead of a 30 minute commute or even a 7 minute one...at worst it's 6. If you miss the one major light, it adds about 50% to the travel time. The only thing he says he misses about his old workplace is being in the same parking lot as Chick-Fil-A (meanwhile, the only thing I miss is the pay, lol).

We had pulled pork sandwiches. It was delicious and only required minimal cooking--crock pot meal!
