Love your kitty   I would want to incorporate the tree somehow and think the stencil would probably work with some modeling paste colored with an ink refill.

Your kitty is so cute!!!  I would cut the photo in a shape (a circle or heart) and then surround it with lots of cuteness from Doodlebug's Kitten Smitten.
