Thanks everyone for doing my challenge! All the layouts were awesome!! The random winner is Yankeegirl
Your Challenge is below!!
Who is ready for a little teaser for the National Scrapbook Day Celebration?!! I know I am.
I will be doing a Scrapbook Poker Challenge. What is that, you ask? Well I can't tell you just yet, but to get ready for it, you need to grab a deck of cards, shuffle them and deal yourself 5 cards. Then take a picture of your Poker hand and share it here. (you never know when the points fairly will sprinkle you with some points).
On May 6th you will find out what to do with those 5 cards.
If you don't have a deck of cards and need me to deal you a hand, please let me know.
STOP-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If you haven't posted your hand yet, please do that first before scrolling down!!
Scrapbook Poker ChallengeFor this challenge you need to create a layout/card/craft with the poker hand you dealt. Below is a list of what each suit and number means. Using at least one photo, follow these rules to create your page:
There is no combining of cards
For each club or spade, use one solid paper.
For each heart or diamond, use one patterned paper.
(note: there are at least 5 different papers used on this layout—one for each of the 5 cards!)
For each ACE, use ONE WORD in the title (two ACEs – two words, etc).
For each 2, use two brads.
For each 3, use a ribbon or twine
For each 4, use rounded corners
For each 5, use bling
For each 6, use a techinque
For each 7, use a frame.
For each 8, use a decorative border.
For each 9, use a diecut
For each 10, use a button or a flower.
Jacks are wild! Use anything you like.
For each QUEEN, use ONE feminine scrappy object (pink ribbon, lace, etc.)
For each KING, use ONE masculine scrappy object.
Rules:Must be a newly created (not created before May 6th) layout/card/craft
Cannot be combined with any other challenge-except the 25 challenge and paper pad challenge
Post your entry here and in the NSD celebration gallery

Sounds like fun!! I'm pretty sure we have a deck of cards around here somewhere.
You've got to know when to hold 'em.........know when to fold 'em...........
Here's my hand! I shuffled and had my son draw five random cards. Can't wait to find out what we do with them, FUN seeing all the NSD activities getting underway!
