As of right now, no big plans.  DH and I will stay in and play board games, have an Indiana Jones movie marathon and eat finger foods - and TRY to stay awake til midnight!

No real big plans. We are getting together with some friends to play cards. We will munch on finger foods and hope to make it to watch the ball drop. Image

Re: New Years Eve plans
Nothing super exciting, but we will have fun! During the day we will go to my parents' house (couple hours away) and have our Christmas with them and my brother and his family. At night the kids and I plan to play board games, maybe watch a movie and munch on snacks while waiting to see the ball drop. DD (17 y/o) and I picked up some photo props so we can take silly photos, and we also have some sparkling cider to toast the new year. DH has to work at 6 the next morning so he will go to bed early and miss out on our evening festivities.

We always have a family party. Lots of snacks, we play games and at midnight we make a lot of noise.
DH's birthday is January 1 so right after midnight we have cake and he opens presents.

No special plans as DH will be back to work on nightshift. That's just fine by me as it's been a SUPER BUSY December!! I'm planning on scrapping the evening away. Image

We are going to get our geek on for New Year's Eve lol. We will go see Rogue One around noon, or whatever the first showing is. Then later on we'll play some Dungeons  & Dragons and board games and have some snacks while we wait for midnight.
Happy Scrapping!

Nothing happening here.  I will just have to suck it up because I work really early and here it's the biggest fireworks day of the year with everyone setting them off around us and across the border, plus all the guns going off.  I'll probably get to sleep between 1 and 2 and will catch an hour or 2 of sleep before getting up.

Re: New Years Eve plans
Well, I was going to post mine and forgot yesterday...My DH and I has for years gone to New Years Eve party at a friends house. Where we eat, play whoopee (card game),  play ping pong, play another card game (that I can't think of the name of),  & then about 5 minutes before midnight we turn on Dick Clarks Rockin' Eve and wait for  the countdown! We then drink some Welches sparkling cocktail juice and pose for a group photo and continue our games and go home! BUT this year our friends are in Cincinnatti for a New Years Eve Wedding. So my niece is hanging out here with my youngest daughter and we're making some snacks (meatballs, nachos, cheese ball and  crackers, veggie tray, & Shrimp)!!!  It'll be a quieter evening! Maybe I can talk DH into going to see a movie!
AND I hope to scrap some today! MAYBE get one more challenge in this month!! Image

Re: New Years Eve plans
Doing laundry today- goal is to get it ALL done and caught up! Also scrapping. Need to run to the grocery store and get a few snacks things for tonight- we will be home and play games with the kids. Yahtzee, foosball, cards (probably a couple rounds of Go Fish to keep DD#2 happy), and who knows what else. DH will go to bed early, but the big kids and I will "ring" in the new year ... not sure about DD#2- she's got a bit of a tummy ache, and I'm hoping it doesn't become the full-fledged virus that's been going around  ...

Not big plans. We are celebrating Christmas with my family tomorrow because my BFF was on call all weekend last weekend so it got pushed back. So I'm doing laundry and need to wrap a few more gifts.

Re: New Years Eve plans
Going out to dinner with some friends we haven't seen in ages, but plan to be home right after.  I don't like to be out on the roads, plus people love to set off fireworks where we are on New Years Eve & that upsets our doggies something terrible.  I couldn't leave them home alone with fireworks going off.

Enjoy Rogue One, Anne-Marie! We went to see it on Christmas Eve and it was really good! My son is a huge Star Wars geek (I mean that in the most endearing way Image). lol

It's just another Saturday!! Haven't gone out in years. Too many drunk drivers, even when it's not a Holiday. I spend a nice quiet evening at home :) I was out and about during the day, so it's not so terrible in the evening.
