SEPTEMBER Pet Challenge – 2016
Thanks to all who played again!! This month's winner is PAWPRINTS!!
It’s back to school, so this month we are going to do pet arithmetic. You can either multiply or divide, BY the number 2.
I want you to count how many pets you own. I’ll use me for an example. As well as my dog Scully, I also have two Siamese kitties. So that’s three. So my number is “3”.
So if I multiply by 2, I get the number six. If I divide by 2, I get 1 ½. If you get a “½” – please round up or down, again, your choice. So I now have the numbers 6, 1 or 2.
Using those numbers to choose from – that’s how many photos you need to use on your layout this month. It does not have to be a pet/animal, but you get an extra entry if you do! (another use of 2 – 2 entries!!) So my layout could have 6 photos, 1 photo or 2 photos. Get it??
Now for those of you who are petless. . . . I have you covered! You can take zero anyway you want, and you are still going to have a zero. Which in all fairness isn’t fair. So I’ll give you your choice of two numbers – zero, or two. If you choose ZERO, you need to do a page with a story you wanted in your scrapbook, one of those ones you just don’t have pictures for. And if you don’t, since much is based on the number 2, you may use 2 photos. Your extra entry will be for doing a photo free layout, just with the journaling.
Obviously there is no sketch for this month, due to the number of photos being different for each person.
Have fun!! Can’t wait to see your layouts! As always the fine print is that I’ll choose a winner of a $5 ACOT gift card shortly after this month ends, September 30.

LOL....I guess we are both using numbers in our challenges this month! So, I have 1 pet and that means 1 photo, right?
Very creative Challenge!

I used to be indecisive; now I'm not sure.

One or TWO - you can multiply OR divide. So if you multiply by 2, you get two photos. Sorry, I made this difficult, I was trying to word it the way I was saying it, and I guess it's not coming thru. Your choice, anyway, one or two.Deanna13 wrote:LOL....I guess we are both using numbers in our challenges this month! So, I have 1 pet and that means 1 photo, right?
If anyone has any issues, just PM me or ask on here! Sorry!!!!!
Fun idea! And since we have 6 pets I'll probably go with division. I'm pretty sure I can't get 12 photos on my 8 1/2 X 11 page.

This sounds like fun! I haven't scrapped my fur babies in a while!

Two great choices, and both are great! I have no pets, but I can still make a page. Yay!
I am running away from my responsibilities,
and it feels good!

Awesome challenge! I just need to decide if I should count DH's chickens as pets... they sure do run up to us to feed them! And, I have a photo of DH feeding one by hand!

I have no pets and think this is a fun challenge! I did two different layouts with 2 photos each. The first is combined with the Use Your Stash Challenge. The second is combined with the Title Challenge.
Happy Scrapping!

I have 1 cat so I used 1 photo, but I scrapped about grandson Kellan's doggy.
I combined this with the Manufacturer Challenge.

here's my page - we now only have 2 pets so I used 1 photo
I'm so in the mood for Thanksgiving/fall/Halloween, more so than I usually am, and don't know why, because I always miss summer so much! But this really put me in the spirit more, love the layout of the photos, so that they take center stage, and the great colors and stickers! Well done, and thanks for doing my challenge!!love2stamp wrote:I have 3 dogs, so went with 6 photos.
Ahhhh Such soft colors, summer's end at it's finest. I love the way you led our eyes thru the page, and the calm peaceful feel. Thanks for doing the challenge!!!Retiree3 wrote:I have not pets. I used #2 for 2 photos.
Great job on both the layouts! I really love the rich colors - "Wisemen" colors - in the first layout, and the way you moved us thru the story! On the second layout, my favorite way to use print journaling - cutting them up to make the craft show thru!! Since I've been handwriting my journaling lately, I forgot how much I like that look. I'll have to attack it again! The colors are lovely, too! Thanks for doing the challenge TWICE!!scrappinmom99 wrote:I have no pets and think this is a fun challenge!
