My table is cleaned from a very productive few weeks of scrapping finally!!! I have things sorted and easy to get to.

I made a nice big purchase last night and took advantage of the great sale ACOT has going on! and DH actually helped me start cleaning off the table in the dining room since my scrap room has been on hold and most of my stuff is in boxes in 3 rooms right now

I SERIOUSLY need to clean my scrap area. Omg, I have not cleaned it all year LOL! And it's MAY (when did that happen!?). I'm also hauling butt to try to finish this manuscript quickly so I can have time to play all weekend. I told DH I don't want to do anything but scrap this weekend LOL! I also need to go thru all the hostesses' hints to see what I can gather together ahead of time. Can't wait for this weekend!
Happy Scrapping!

I haven't been able to partipate in NSD for years because it has always been my weekend to work. This year I actually have Saturday off! But I'm also supposed to have my granddaughter on Saturday, so not sure what I'll be able to do. I too haven't scrapped in ages, and I still have my son's wedding album to finish. Maybe this will push me to get started again!PezKat wrote:I don't see an announcement on the main page or anywhere - what are the hours?? I haven't scrapped in months & was really looking forward to being involved but DH also wants to visit his mom for Mother's Day & not sure I can justify staying home to scrap.
Like Ann, I decided to take advantage of the ACOT sale and placed an order yesterday. Not that I needed anything because I have enough to last me until NSD 2036.
Unscheduled? Can you explain?Art_Teacher wrote:Katrina,PezKat wrote:I don't see an announcement on the main page or anywhere - what are the hours?? I think this is a more laid back, unscheduled crop. We don't have specific time slots and ACOT is encouraging us to start the festivities whenever we can get online. I believe most of us will be posting our challenges and allowing a week to finish them. Games will probably be the main thing you would miss.
OK...now I'm really confused. No schedule, just whenever people are available? Sounds like a recipe to miss things easily. I know I haven't been around, but I was looking forward to actually being off on NSD for the first time in years, and now it sounds very loosey goosey.
I just came back from a retreat yesterday so once I unpack (like that's so easy..ha) I'll be set with stash & pictures. DH will be convalescing all weekend so I should have plenty of time to work on challenges.
im not really prepping I wont be home the day of or the day before....and prob wont have time to even think about stuff til days after the event....im kinda sad......
By spending lots of money here on new goodies!! Just placed my order for the new Fancy free collection by Pink Paislee.
I'm trying to make a list of things posted and stuff I will need. Every year NSD falls on Free Comic Day, which is a big holiday in my house, so I usually don't get to actually scrap until the day/week after.
By no schedule, it just means that we aren't following the same format as in years past when each hour was hosted by one person. Rest assured there will be things happening all day long on Saturday - many games and challenges are planned! Quite a few challenges will be up prior to Saturday as well to give people a head start. And there will be a stickied thread with all of the challenges to make them easier to find. For anything that does start at a set time (like Bingo), we will be sure to let you know ahead of time what time it will start.Ayla wrote:OK...now I'm really confused. To prep, I'm acting like a 5 year old waiting for Christmas BLFONTY is hosting a crop with a few of us local ACOT cherries and I CAN. NOT. WAIT. 5 more sleeps!
HI NANCY!!!!! Miss you!!!!
Thank you!beachlover wrote:since ACOT wants to keep this crop more laid back and informal, we are not each taking a specific hour of time and posting games/challenges. Start watching for challenges and little games to be posted on Monday. Thanks! Just asking, because I know the day goes by quickly, and the "Recent Topics" will be moving, too.Art_Teacher wrote:Even though there won't be a schedule, we will try to post in advance when something will start, like a bingo or a fast scrap. Forgive me if I sound whiney, but it would be nice to know ahead of time on the Fast Scraps start times, because I won't stay glued to the computer if I'm working on challenges . . .
