Thank you to everyone who participated in the Dec/Jan challenge, there were so many fantastic entries! There are two winners, each receiving a $5 gc....according to random.org they are #29, mgehrke and #33, Linda S. Congratulations, ladies! I'll be sending your gc's shortly.
Thanks again to all of you who participated in November's challenge, over 30 entries again! Awesome work, cherries! This challenge is going to run through December & January. I know December is a busy, busy month for all of us. With my son's basketball games & a computer upgrade at work, my weekends are already spoken for, not to mention Christmas! So a little gift from me to you is some extra time to get a layout (or two) completed for my challenge! Hope you all enjoy what I've picked for you!
Take Your Pick gives you two choices, a one-page sketch or a two-page sketch.
You can choose either sketch or do both, each will count as one entry.
I will allow an entry for anyone who wants to use only one side of the two-page sketch.
So, if you use the one-page sketch, that's one entry. If you use one or both sides of the two-pager, that's still one entry, maximum of two entries per participant.
The "challenging" part is that there will be a requirement along with each sketch, so please read carefully each month. In fairness to everyone participating in the drawing for the prize, please only post submissions that meet the rules and challenge requirement.
I found this month's one-page sketch on Pinterest, credit to Laura Whitaker for the design:
This month's inspiration for the challenge requirement comes from a friend I was recently cropping with. She said my love for hashtags was growing on her, and she thought she'd use one in a layout title. The challenge requirement for the one-page sketch is a HASHTAG (or pound sign, number sign, for example #25 on a sports page to indicate their player number), however you use it, I want you to use this: #. I used my "#" as a hashtag in my title:
#FroYo
I also found the two-page sketch on Pinterest, I don't see it on the sketch, but I think credit goes to Lisa Bearnson's blog?
I used only one side of this two-page sketch for my sample. I was very happy to use up some Simple Stories Christmas papers from my stash, especially when I found the trees just asking to be fussy cut from the patterned paper. I also fussy cut the "Ho Ho Ho" quotation bubble......in case you haven't guessed it, the requirement for the two-page sketch is Fussy Cutting!
Ho Ho Ho
I know the sketch screams Christmas, and my sample is a Christmas layout, but your entry does NOT have to be holiday/Christmas themed. Just point out what you fussy cut when submitting your entry, please.
Open to layouts only, paper or digital
Must be new work using the provided sketch(es)

These are both wonderful sketches and love your examples! I've been using those hashtags just to 'use them up' lately. LOL
I hope it's ok that i only used one photo, this sketch is wonderful! thank you, for the inspiration

Here's mine based on the 1st sketch and used a hashtag.
I combined this with the 3 In A Row Challenge.

This is what I came up with for the Take Your Pick Challenge Sketch. I also used #LOVE. I combined with the Dec. Mood Board Challenge.
this is my take on the double page sketch - I used the RH page as inspiration for my single page - I fussy cut the small "sun"/flower on the title block
"Colorado Girl!" - Dec/Jan Take your pick Sketch (Sketch 1 using a hashtag). Also submitted for Dec Spelling Challenge. Thanks for the inspiration to create this layout.

I chose the single page sketch for the and the hashtag is on the teeny sticker at the bottom.
