Following Directions Challenge
I have been doing the 3 in a Row Challenge for a long time and I thought it might be time to do something different. I
will give you a list of directions that you will need to follow.
1. Take a piece double sided paper and cut it into 2
pieces. These pieces can be whatever size you want them
to be- ex. ( half, fourth, eighth, etc.) Adhere the 2 sides
together and this will be your background paper.
2. You may only use these colors on your layout- red, green,
orange, teal, and white- any shade of these is
allowed. This does not include your photos.
3. Use 6 or more pieces of patterned paper (no bigger than
4" x 6").
4. Use a shape(s) on your layout- circle, square, octagon,
triangle, hexagon, etc. Must use at least 3 or more. Can
be one kind or a mix of shapes.
5. Use 2 or more photos that are matted. Optional- Can use
a double or triple mat. Cardstock can be used here.
6. Use 2 or more washi tape pieces anywhere on your
layout.
7. Use mixed alphas for your title.
8. Use 2 or more chipboard pieces on your layout. May be
naked or embellished.
9. Use 2 or more tags.
10. Buttons- Use as many as you want.
Below is my example.I can't wait to see what everyone creates.

Honest to gosh, I couldn't sleep lately thinking about making this challenge work. LOL I listed what all I did in the gallery, and I have to say, I had the best time in a long time doing a challenge. Only thing is, the colors really are teal, darker than they appear. We had this discussion about phone pictures vs. camera pictures? This is a Samsung Galaxy 5 photo. Sucks. So I apologize. I will not do it again. I did it out of laziness because a fellow scrapper wanted to see it when I was done, she found the directions intriguing when I read them to her. So I sent it by phone to her . EDITED the photo. It looked so washed out. Sorry.
Here is my take on the challenge, I had a lot of fun with this! I combined it with TV Challenge as one of my pictures shows a BIG Pez.

I didn't think I could get this all on a page, but here it is, and not as cluttered as I thought it would be.
I stayed with more of the pink tones in the red family, but used all the shades you picked.
I have 6 patterned papers, several hearts for the shape, photos are triple matted, 2 washi tapes across the center, mixed alphas, 2 tags, chipboard letters and family sign, and buttons. Tough one, lol.
