How fun! I saw on IG where she was talking about going to a Scrapbook Expo the other day.
OK Joannie. You know I absolutely adore you (and have been kicking myself to finish up this "tough" silver haired layout for you). BUT. I cannot STAND Becky Higgins. She's a royal pain in the you know what. She actually flaked after we traveled from PA to San Antonio to see her. Yeah, for a dang card class. And the beat went on from there. She's nothing, in my humble opinion, but a really good marketer, she knows how to market her stuff. Design wise? Nope. Not a clue. And the teacher we had was great, except she wanted us to make cards for Becky , who was "ill" because she found out she was pregnant. REALLY? OK. I ranted enough. No. I am not a fan of hers.
I AM A JOANNIE FAN, though!!

We had a wonderful time at the Expo this year. We had a friend that had just moved up to the Chicago suburbs recently and she let us crash at her house on Friday night. It was wonderful not having to leave Indy around 5 am Saturday morning to get there at opening. We were there when it opened and were one of the last to leave when it was over. The shopping was wonderful. I found some really good deals and lots of things to buy (good thing there was no budget challenge this month). After the expo was over we went to the IKEA store for a couple of hours. I wanted some floating shelves to match my Expedit and a utility cart. Joannie and I both bought one. Hers is tan and mine is turquoise. Love this rolling cart. We are going to a crop this Saturday and this will be perfect for our most used items. Here's a picture of the cart.joannie wrote:Sandi, Julie, and I went to Shaumburg/Chicago to the Scrapbook Expo! Becky Higgins was there!!! It was so FUN!!! We all came home with lots of goodies!!
How neat is that! So glad you all had fun!
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
