Exactly! I will accept that.Meli wrote:I don't do project life- so to do the project life style layout, I just do everything in a grid? or a certain size of blocks?? Sorry I want to do this but am not familiar with PL.
Glad you asked, Meli, I do not do PL either and I'm waiting to see what someone else does for this style layout.Meli wrote:I don't do project life- so to do the project life style layout, I just do everything in a grid? or a certain size of blocks?? Sara, I may not be permitted because I'm on the 4 generation photo - if by "Family" (which is what I had with Roast Beef) is not allowed to include "ME" in the photos. Just want to be fair. If it doesn't count - sorry. . . I had family, use a sketch (it's posted in the gallery with this layout) and use wood veneers, framing Joey and my grandfather's hand photo.
Yes...it counts. I don't care if you are included with your family...sherelm wrote:Sara, I may not be permitted because I'm on the 4 generation photo - if by "Family" (which is what I had with Roast Beef) is not allowed to include "ME" in the photos. Here's my choices:
4.) Ham=project life style layout
3.) plain old white bread sandwich=friends
1.) mayo=enamel dots
Ok this is my attempt at a project life layout. I have never done one before so please let me know if this is ok.

This is perfect! I couldn't have put together a better example! Thanks so much for doing my challenge!tmp718 wrote:Here's my choices:

This was fun once I decided on pictures of me::) So I decided to with a crazy picture of me at the Scrapbook Expo. All day long a horribly loud gong went off just echoing throughout the place. So at the end of the day when it was my turn to hit the gong, I had decided to do it softly. Well, I thought I was being gentle and ended up hitting it very hard and ohhhh the noise was terrible. So, my friend caught the picture on the left of my reaction to the noise. So she took a second picture as a better shot. But the first one ends up being much more fun.

An expert at anything was once a beginner!
I had roast beef=get well card, white bread=card bigger than A2 (this is 6x6), and mayo= 1 layer. Hoping I inferred the one layer correctly (that it doesn't include the sentiment/picture, but is the layer of paper between). Combining with the rewind challenge.
My picks were Ham-Project Life Style layout
White bread-Friends
Mayo-Enamel dots.
Thanks for the challenge!

My Sandwich:
Ham - create a Project Life style layout
sub or hoagie-style - you
mayo - enamel dots
***Twist - I CANNOT use diecuts or wooden veneers!
I used some of my favorite quotes here... Enjoy Every Single Moment and Live, Love, and Laugh. I'll add some journaling about the day and trying to incorporate those quotes in my everyday life. This was a day at Maui hiking while on the 'Road to Hana'. We stopped at many places and it rained off and on all day. Some places were Kaumahina State Wayside, Waianapanapa Cave, Bamboo Rain Forest, Etc.
Enjoy Every Single Moment
I also used this for the Take On The Challenge.

Just getting back from a long vacation and two week stay with Mom, who injured her knee. Hope to get this one done before I go back to care for her through her surgery! Love complex, fun challenges!

I hope it was ok that the pic of me also has my sister in it too.
My recipe said that I had to do a lift, scraplift myself, and use diecuts!
My diecuts are the filmstrip and alphas. i also combined with Scraplift the GD Challenge.
& I didn't use enamel dots or wood! (my black dots are irock bling!)

Sara, I didn't get to this one in August I really like this type of recipe challenge, they are fun & definitely challenging, which I like! I just couldn't pull it together this month, but would love to play along again if you do one in the future!

I created a layout for your challenge. I had to do a Project Life style, subject ME, with enamel dots. I chose to do a PL layout using some of the Disney photos I just printed. I never get into photos at DIsney.....I am always the one taking them---but since this was our first family trip, and the first trip for the grandkids, I bought the Memory Maker package. I can' t believe how many photos I got myself into!!!! Thanks for a great challenge! I used heart enamel dots, as well as red and gold round ones on both pages. And I used sticker embellishments instead of using the diecuts in this cute collection!

Here's my layout. I had ham (project life), white bread (friends) and mayo (enamel dots)
This was my first time to do a project life layout. Hope I did it right.

No worries! I completely understand! I always have a list of challenges every month I want to get to...but every month a few get left undone. In fact, I don't think I got to your sketch challenge this month either. I usually put the ones I don't get to at the top of the list for the following month.StacyLeeD wrote:Sara, I didn't get to this one in August I really like this type of recipe challenge, they are fun & definitely challenging, which I like!
