I'm in the process of putting the kit together but we are going out today (supposed to rain tomorrow, boo! but that translates to in the house scrappy time, yay! LOL) so I'll have to come back to it. I have stuff from Websters and October Afternoon which are more muted and pastel, and then Bella Blvd and Doodlebug which are in-your-face bright primaries LOL. But it's all school stuff...there's blue in both............LOL! I'm going to try to do layouts for both kids so the pastels for her and the brights for both. Maybe OA can work for some of his pages too. Maybe make some teacher thank you cards and graduation ones.

I think your kit sounds great! Can't wait to see a picture!

Ok, here is my kit. I started with the Dear Lizzy Daydreamer 6x6 pad since I've never used it despite really liking it! I added papers that match and some other stuff. Not pictures are some Thickers and enamel dots. Forgot to throw those in but they always get used.

This challenge has finally got me going on our vacation photos from 2011! I have done 14 pages in the past 3 days (7 double-page spreads)...so much easier once the items have been selected and you have a goal! I think I will be finished with my kit by about the middle of July, so I might have to just do another one with a travel theme and work on the vacation photos from 2012. lol I know we are only killing one kit for the challenge, but I am going to try to do 3 before I go back to school in August.

I may have gone overboard on this!!! The first photo is mostly cardstock and patterned paper. The 2nd photo has my alphas, stickers, swap items, brads etc. And I forgot to put the washi with the kit

oh well, I'll grab it as I go! I have been loving everybody's kits! this is such a good idea - great way to make old things new again!!

Here's my kit

These are the papers, die cuts, twine, washi, PL/journal cards.

This is the lettering, some wood veneers, plastic stickers, sticker & chipboard plus some dots & buttons.

I also plan to use white card stock but didn't put it in the kit.

I don't think anyone has asked that, yet, Nancy! I think it could work...the main premise is to choose one kit and "use it up" with as many layouts as you can. I think if you chose a kit and then had to do many layouts with it, it would be fair. Of course, you can't "use it up" so maybe just limiting the number of times you use a paper or an element would make it even with paper? Sara will have to be the one to say, though.

I agree with Laura's thoughts! If you would like to participate with a digi kit I am totally fine with it. Maybe grab one you purchased and haven't used yet...and then use it till you are sick of it??....lol. Just post a photo of the digi kit you would like to use and then post your layouts. You can "limit " yourself to a number of layouts or embellishment use if you want but that would be up to you.

Sounds great, thanks! I have not scrapped in so long that I really want this hiatus to be over. I'm finally finding my creative side wants to express itself agauin!
