Thoughts are with you.
June
Quick update....they are keeping him overnight for observation. His left arm is still not 100% better but has improved throughout the day. I left about 3:30' went to the grocery store, came home, put the groceries away and grabbed something to eat. Now heading back to the hospital with some things for him. I doubt I will stay late as we are both exhausted.
This certainly wasn't the Mother's Day weekend we had planned but I'm praying he will be okay. And of course the entire hospital staff gave him a hard time about not coming in sooner. Hopelly this will teach him that he needs to seek medical attention immediately.
Thanks for for all your prayers and good thoughts.
On a more positive note...I still have a few sprinkles to hand out!!

Those sprinkles will wait. Hoping you rest ok tonight. Keep us informed how he's doing.emmapaige wrote:Quick update....they are keeping him overnight for observation. Glad things are looking better! I'm with Deb . . . the sprinkles aren't going anywhere.
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
Thank you all for your kind words. I'm a complete mess right now but awarding some sprinkles as a thank you took my mind off everything for a little while. I am exhausted so if I forgot anyone that posted before 8:10 PM EST today, please let me know.
Heading off to bed. I hope I can sleep.

Glad to hear he is better. Rest. Will continue to keep you both in my prayers.
How frightening. I hope it's nothing so scary as a stroke, though they can happen with no repercussions at all, too, so hopefully there's nothing to worry about. Just a sign of a correction of diet or lifestyle or the need for a simple medical procedure. Also, sometimes migraines look like strokes, so it could be something as simple as that. At any rate, please let us know how he's doing and know you've got lots of good thoughts and intentions are being sent your way by all the cherries here.
Good luck and I hope for only the best!

Just read backward through the post and saw your update that he's being held, but that he's recovering. Whew! I hope all goes well tonight and know that you never need to offer sprinkles to get your fellow cherries to send you love and concern. I'm just glad things seem to be getting better, not worse. Whew!
Glad you are seeing improvement already. Hope he continues to improve and gets to come home soon!
Kim

That's pretty good news. I'm glad they are keeping him overnight. Better safe, than otherwise. I hope you can get some sleep tonight - it's no good for you to get rundown. Happy Mother's Day!
Hope you get a good nights sleep and things are looking sunnier in the morning.

Ditto on the sprinkles! Glad he is doing better - hope he continues to improve. Try not to let yourself get too worn down in this deal.debamas wrote:Those sprinkles will wait. That's scary Chris! I'm glad he's in the hospital being watched.
I hope he's at 100% soon.

I used to be indecisive; now I'm not sure.
