There are two things that come to my mind:  First is using a stencil on a scrapbook page.  Second, I want to make a shaker card.

I have to agree that learning more on the digital/photoshop side would be good.

Mixed media for sure! I've got a 4 pk of gelatos, some gesso, and a dozen mists and stencils. I just need to learn.

It looks like mixed media is the technique most of us would like to learn. I bought gesso and tried it once but hated how it looked on the page so I pitched the page. I don't own any gelatos because I don't know how to use them.  This subject does give me some ideas though on a possible challenge or two that I could host.

I am the odd one out.  Not interested in Mixed Media.  It already takes me so long to make a layout.

I would like to learn how to add more embellishments to my layouts.  I have SO MANY, but never seem to have the right thing for my project.

In my latest ACOT order, I will be getting more stencils.  I had previously purchas modeling paste (which I have not yet opened) and gelatos (which I also haven't opened).  So once I get those stencils, I'm going to give them all a try and see what happens.

Heat embossing.  Bought a heat embosser a while ago and want to try it but I think I am a little afraid of burning something.  I also someday want to learn how to use the Cricut online design studio.

I would like to find a way to be happy w/stitching. Was just discussing this last night with BFF. the only way I've liked it thus far is by doing rub on's. I'd like to find a stitching stamp or something cause my hand stitching stinks!

I would like to try my hand at gelatos (just bought some last week). I'd also like to figure out using my sewing machine on layouts. I've done it before but it always is a hassle and it seems like it shouldn't be as hard as I make it.

I know this!   I love what gals are doing with plastic cellophane package, mists, and spritz of water.  Then they smoosh and guide the colorful puddles around on the background.  Gonna try this...maybe tonight if I can sneak away from my 7 pork shoulders that are cooking as we speak!  Graduation party in 17 days!

Re: Is there a technique in scrapbooking that you would lik
I just bought a laminator yesterday and some of the Heidi Swapp foil and a set of cardstock pieces to try in it.  Foiling seems like fun.

I also got a bunch of mixed media stuff to test out...eventually.  Mixed media is super pretty, but I prefer clean lines so it will be interesting to see if I like the result.  I love what other people do with it, but just like layering...I have issues with the vision.  I look at some videos and go 'omg, that look TERRIBLE' and by the end I love it and in spite of watching the process, still can't fathom how it all came together.
