I am super stumped on the "something borrowed" part. Help!

I was thinking scraplift a layout, use a sketch, "borrow" a title or poem or song lyric. Hope that helps.

I am pretty sure i understand the challenge itself but I don't get the extra credit part...I don't know what are points and where they come from.


Your points are what you get for leaving love in the gallery, finding cherries, shopping, etc. You just look at how many points you have.... for instance if you have  532 points you would use 5 of something , 3 of something and 2 of something. Hope that helps.

Here is my layout: 



Something old: The digital kit is almost two years old. 
Something new: The photos were taken about two weeks ago.
Something borrowed: The logo for Mid-Michigan Therapy Dogs, Inc. is not mine.
Something blue: The swash of navy blue paint.

My number of points was 813. There are 8 red stars, 1 pink heart and 3 flowers.

So when I signed up for this challenge I only had 2 points.  Does that mean I have to limit my items to two?  Or just two of one type?  Please clarify!

Wow Ann this is a doozy, but that is a good thing, makes us stretch!

Ok so to make sure I have this correct: when I posted my points it was 1776 so do I need 1 embellishment, a 7 word title (?????) 7 photos and 6 papers?

Something Old - Karen Foster beach stickers
Something New - Jolees Bottle and Recollections Quote - both are sort of shaker boxes
Something Borrowed - I borrowed the Julie Nutting Mermaid stamp at a recent crop to make my mermaid 
Something Blue - background patterned paper and embossed paper in center

For the challenge I used something old (ribbon), something new (Doodlebug twine), something borrowed (a sketch from twoscrapbookfriends.net), and something blue. My points were also 4915 so I used 9 patterned papers, 4 circles (the sticker circles don't count), 1 picture and 5 stickers

can we have other items not associated with our numbers ?  e.g. if I am 123 - I could have 1 pic, 2 papers, 3 embellies - could I also have 5 stickers and 16 sequins?

When this started I had 1669 points? What am I to do with 1 .? One paper & embellishments for the other numbers?
 

yes, 1 of "something" on your project, 6 of something,  another 6 of something and 9 of something...  but that is just the bonus (gives you 2 chances to win) and is not required, just the extra

Here is my LO for this challenge.  I included something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.  I didn't have a number before today, so I adopted 0 as my number and put round stuff on my LO.

Oops I almost forgot to post to the thread!  I've got:
Old - Websters Pages paper
New - the chain link wood
Borrowed - pix from my hubs fishing album
Blue - background paper.
My points# was 2554 so I have 2 pix, 5 words, 5 fussy cut fish and 4 patterned papers.
also crosses some things on the hostess bonus list!

Something blue: blue in snap cards & elements, flag banner & enamel dot

I'm a nerd and never passed up a chance for extra credit My number was 2150:

1 - picture
5 - I used wood veneers in 5 different places on my lo (hashtag at top, star, flag banner, chevrons & hash tag at bottom)
